Yeah if you don't like the (extremely well-crafted) dialogue you really might as well not watch, because it's admittedly 90% of the show.

Yes.

pretty great dialogue from Dolorous Edd (the sourpuss guy on the Wall) per uge (uzhe? uje? i'm trying to shorten "usual")

also pretty important scene with Jorah Mormont leaving Dany (I WONDER WHERE JORAH IS GOING TO GO YOU GUYS)

the Grey Worm / Missandei thing is pretty dumb, could deal without

i loved the 17 minute beetle smashing story, Tyrion  :dubious:

The Theon/Reek stuff is fantastic.

Boltons!  :curse:

Sansa!

I really thought there was going to be some point to the beetle story and he was going to have figured out why the guy was killing beetles by the end of it, but no.

It was supposed to be an eloquent way of saying some people just kill things and there is no reason it's just in their nature, or something, but it came off as kind of a dumb long story.

The allegory was nice, but I just enjoyed the brotherly memories/ conversation so near a presumable death. The worm/ Missandei was def  :dunno:, then .

Love the rest though. I'm loving the dialogue.

Sansa is definitely worst to near first in my book.

Hey how about all that talking guys? I thought the talking was really well done in this episode.

OK, but seriously Dany kicked Jorah to the curb!

Huge mistake and character flaw on her part. He'll redeem himself. She better show humility when he does, or she's a lost cause.

That episode sums up the show pretty well. Bunch of boring talking, then 2 minutes of the episode is something crazy happening. Everyone talks about the crazy thing that happened, no one discusses all the boring talking that happened.

I hate Cersei and her stupid smug smile.

That bitch.

9681
the producers of the show tend to leave no doubt when a character dies, yknow?

Tyrion and The Mountain = suspenseful M-Sat (less for me).

The Mountain isn't so much suspenseful out of care for his lame ass (sorry to MH, Oberyn is much more interesting imo).

Septor? Don't mind if I do.

Come on Dorn, get in front of the damn ball! Don't give me this "olé" bullshit!

Haha, I used to have a baseball coach whose favorite thing to say was "Ole, whiff."

"Ole, whiff, ole, whiff, that's all we do!"

We were actually pretty good.

Went to about 2 innings of wingnuts vs. railcats yesterday before deciding we had to leave right away to fly in the helicopter that kept buzzing the ballpark.

how was the helicopter ride?

Dug it.  I think I need one of my own.

LORENZO!!   :excited:

How awesome would he be if he could stay healthy

He should hit more homers than he does IMO, but that could be said for Hos, Butler, and Alex (yes Alex) IMO

Best part is he has a great home run swing. I don't mean his swing should make a lot of home runs or anything. It just looks really cool whenever he hits one.

So I'm guessing that everyone is just writing off Clinks? Is there something this board knows that I don't?

No, but you didn't technically call him, so I get Clinks. Had him in mind the whole thread, reading every post word for word to make sure he hadn't already been picked.

Really unfortunate for ol' nicname.

I'll take

Offense: Leverett
Defense: Schellenberg

Generally speaking, adults that wear a lot of college apparel also have a lot of 'no fear' shirts and shirts that have various comics from 'the far side'

Speaking of No Fear shirts, wouldn't wear those, but if I could get my hands on some "Big Johnson" shirts ...

Is it bad, in a way, that I wished this team would lose every game to just get rid of Ned and DM?

I want them to win......but then I don't

I get this way during losing streaks, but the second we win a game I'm 100% #beroyal again.

qft

Yup

I love these guys! Yeah, they frustrate the hell out of us, but I love 'em, and I love all of you!

I jumped off my dinner table whooping and fistpumping when they scored on the bad throw.

I used to work at another school that was not K-State so my closet was full of their gear. When I quit that job I threw away all of my shirts for that school, and even threw away a couple of nice ties that were that school's colors because I knew I'd never wear them again.

This is awesome, I bet he mutters "smile for the rough ridin' camera chump" when he takes his pictures mentoring youngsters

Well, it took two years, but you got an  out of me with this one. Coincidentally, I just listened to an NPR story about LeVar Burton and Reading Rainbow about an hour ago!

I wish someone would stand up to MiR when he goes on his racist diatribes like this.

Yes, the tripe he gets away with on this blogsite is appalling.
