It’s hard to make excuses or blame others in wrestling

Good thing because Hyundai and KIA engines are white hot garbage

This used to be very true, but it’s no longer the case. It’s part of the reason why the brands have been offering so much value at such a low price with such great warranties. It takes a lot of work to get past that old stigma of being pieces of crap.

Reliable resources like Edmunds are now rating Hyundai and Kia very favorably, and have been doing so for some time now.

I have a medically challenged family member with a horrible back, so that recliner might be great for me. Would need to try it out.
Yeah, would be great for that.  But again, those seats basically make the third row completely useless.  May be worth it to see if you can just totally remove the third row so you basically have just the recliner seats and a massive trunk when recliner isn't in use.

OT, but my niece has a lot of medical needs and is confined to a wheelchair.  They recently pimped out their KIA telluride so that a ramp can extend out of the trunk, and she can just slide into the a space in the third row. It has all sorts of crazy buckles and stuff that the wheelchair can strap into.  It's extremely badass.

You prob already know this, but Telluride and Palisade is basically a he same car. Telluride is way less girly imo tho. I really like the tricked out telluride from a couple of years ago before they changed the Kia logo.

If you’re going new, the Hyundai warranties are hard to beat. Prob best in the business.

More and more I believe wrestling is invaluable for developing positive traits in youths.

Once you’ve wrestled, everything else is easy.

I would have to rank this win as one of our top 5 worst losses

Pretty reasonable approximation of Jerry West

Which ties perfectly into one of my favorites, which of course, is the NBA conspiring against the Sacramento Kings in favor of the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2001-02 Western Conference Finals.

Moral loss if there ever was one.

That this has happened multiple times this season is pretty disheartening. Pathetic really. I’ve never seen a team give up runs like this.

I was doing some deep thinking this morning and this season would have been a lot more fun if the cats hadn’t played badly for most of February.

Tangruary?

Considering a Hyundai Palisade.
Those are really good looking
I spend my afternoons daydreaming about the number of mulch bags that thing could transport.

They’re nice. The “wine” color is basically purple. Go Cats! Would this be for Mrs DQ? Cuz ‘sades are kind of girly iyam. They really are very nice tho and have all the bells and whistles, you can basically read a book and drive them on the highway.

I'm surprised nobody has nominated Salina yet

Rankings of mid-sized Kansas Cities without major colleges.

Best to worst:

Salina > Hutchinson > Garden City > Dodge City

I was going to make an argument on Hutch being in front of Salina, but the Salina Mall vs the Hutch Mall /Empty Ghost Mall is probably worth enough points to push Salina back in front. But there is a large gap between Hutch and Garden City.

Update: Salina mall now also a ghost mall, but Salina downtown is actually very nice now with a lot going on.

Pretty awesome iyam

An important detail to remember about Coffeyville is that from the 1930 census thru the 1980, it maintained a population of over 15k; maintaining over 17k for about 40 of those years consecutively.

There are now less than 9,000 permanent residents there as of the 2020 census.

It's not that the West no longer wants to believe in God, but that it can't even believe anymore: It's a dead rose. nihilism is so widespread, through a sort of liberal-type social engineering (individualism, secularization, etc.) going on 200 years, that they can only have faith/trust in nothing. As Bauman writes & demonstrates in his book "Liquid Modernity", the West doesn't even believe in a utopian vision anymore, that which was the foundation of secular modernity.

The legacy of the Democratic party is one of legions upon legions of deep thinkers.

Feelings and emotions are not deep thoughts.
The trick was always about making it "us" vs "them". There are plenty of fairly intelligent and unintelligent people on both sides. I hope someday for leadership that strives to find common ground, and lift expectations. This country is best when we try to work together.

We all have our golden calves/idols. Pete is absolutely right about Trump.

Idols are a fascinating topic of their own.

Drafting WRs is smart w/ a QB like Mahomes. Let them go after rookie contract, pay linemen and defensive players.

I mean, could also draft d-linemen.
