Was playing some golf on this Wonderful 75 degree fall day and saw a white squirrel in the wild.

Probably could have gotten yourself Mepp's spinners for life if you turned that pelt in.

I’m reminded of this little guy, who we lost too soon.

I almost hit the lil squirrel with my drive! Went 20 yards to the right of the fairway and everyone was like "yeah it landed by the squirrel". We just thought the late evening sun was making that squirrel stand out but nope, it was an albino.

wow!

have you considered trapping it, building a fancy outdoor cage for it in your backyard, breeding it to other squirrels and then releasing the offspring in your neighborhood so that you can see white squirrels all the time?

nice looking dekay's snake.  might also be worth catching and propagating to increase abundance.

My cat got ahold of a western ribbon snake but I was able to free him. This snake was luckier than others who have encountered Mittens. Benji's dad would be proud.

Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

So my dad took home a runt kitten from the family homestead earlier this spring and nursed it back to health. He calls it "Farm Kitty" and loves this thing more than he loves Rush Limbaugh, even after it gave him and my mom ringworm.

Everytime he goes back to western KS he takes the cat and sends us pictures of it doing farm things with him.

After a couple of years of failing health Farm kitty/Lil Lil passed peacefully this evening in the burbs of KC. She was born in a barn outside of Colby Kansas, abandoned by her mother as the runt of the litter and nursed back to health by a kind cat rancher.

She lived 5 years on a diet of kibble and eggs and out lived all of her blood relatives who were eaten by coyotes, she brought joy to all around her. She is survived by her younger sister Tazee (another farm cat runt).

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Also, there is a family of foxes down the street from me that has seven kits. I will try to post a pic soon. Need to have my telephoto lens with me when I'm out walking. They don't seem afraid of my dog.
