Took her too my work xmas party. Started at one of those Japanese places. Caught shrimp in my both like a boss. Wined and dined her. Took a party bus around the plaza. Showed off my stellar dance moves. Made her drinks. Got dropped off at harpos. Started too tell each other how much we cared about one another. Shared a make out session (ya, I was that guy ). Took a shot of jager. Chased down a cab and the rest was  :gocho: from there. Should be interesting how it plays out from here.

Soooo, it was my dates bday today. I'm thinking about sending her flowers tomorrow, but I don't want to scare her off. Friends for 6 years and Friday night was the first time "it" happened. I know she's worried about losing me as a friend if it doesn't workout, but I've gotta give it a try, right? It's all I could think about all day. She didn't want to do anything for her birthday today, so should I take that as a sign? I'm really mind rough ridin' myself right now.

send them. can't do the wrong thing with the right person.

You go to bar. Get filly's number.

1) How long to wait to text? Do you call?
2) Do you ask out on a date, or just see if you can meet up again the next wknd?

Don't send flowers. Send her something else (Idk what, something she likes and is interested in) and do it in person somehow casually. You're totally going to freak her out with flowers. Probably.

Bitches love flowers, especially if they are sent to where she works and she can big-time the other women at her work.

yeah. good advice. get her something small that she likes and mentioned in passing or something.. it's all in the seemingly meaningless details.. also, friendship between singles is tenuous. either you get together with them, or one of you gets together with someone else. they aren't built to last..

Really depends...If you discussed doing something later in the week(Watching the next cats bball game, LOL) I wait a couple of days until its getting close to when you said you would hang out again.

If not then I'll usually text withing the next 48 hrs and ask to meet up for some drinks after work.

All that goes out the window if you are still in school as you can just text her next time you black out in aggieville and odds are she will be 1 bar over.

Yeah, you both share great points. j-dub, we might need to share a happy hour to get the deets out on this past with her. Let me tell you though, she's a game changer. Like I'd do anything for her kind of thing. However,  this movie plot has some interesting twist and turns that involve former coworkers and roommates back in the day.

absolutely bro. can't friggin' wait

Yeah, if you had a threesome with her two roommates, that might be hard for her to overlook. (Did I guess right? If I did, you should write a screen play as well.)

Nope. Worked with her in college. She dated my enemy (from work) and it was a messy break up as I had predicted (cause he's a piece of crap) and it was also her best friend before that. I made out with some chick at a party who ended up being her roommate. I talked to her roommate for like a month, so I guess you could say lines were drawn. But nothing happened with the roommate. In fact, those two live close together today in KC. And to put the cherry on top, she's scared to date a best friend again cause she thinks she should have learned her lesson the first time and doesn't want to lose another good friend. Woooo. Exhausted just telling the story.

She sounds a bit "off" - be wary and do not give her the upper hand.

Fanning... Guys stop having "Best Friends" who are female when they are about 9 years old.  Also, girls change friends like they change socks.  They'll dump all over their closest friend they've known for years just for looking at them wrong.  Think about it.

My advice falls in line with the 'guys don't keep girl "friends" forever' theory. Jump in head first if she is girlfriend material (which, judging from what you have said, you fell like she is). Ten years from now, you will not be best friends with her, unless you are married to her.

You are so right, Dobber. Fanning and Filly will not be best friends 10 years from now unless they are A) both still single or B) married to one another.

My two best guy friends got married in the last three years. I am now great friends with their wives and hardly ever talk to either of my former guy friends without their wives there. It's not the same.

rough ridin' boom!!! Went a head and sent the flowers. I don't know why? Mom told me to stop being a pussy and send them. Kinda like I have nothing to lose. She got the flowers and was Super excited. Saying it meant so much to her and stuff. I don't think I've heard her happier. Said the girls at work were super jealous and stuff.  :gocho:

Girls love that stuff. Whoever told you not to do that was probably a saboteur.
