We both went to our own parents places for thanksgiving and I pick her up from the airport tomorrow. I’ve been dying here guys missing her. Things continue to go extremely well and I’m very confident in our future right now together. It’s a little scary about the unknown but man what an incredible woman. I’m a lucky guy, guys.

Have a trip planned next month for her to come back and visit home and meet a lot of the fam and friends for the first time.

We are both pragmatic. We discussed it ahead of time & jointly decided to get married. Then she picked out the ring.

Similar. She picked out a few she liked. I bought the one I liked the most on my own.

Wedding bands were purchased together.

I did surprise her with the engagement itself though. It was kind of fun watching her squirm with anticipation.

She picked the diamond & we had the ring made to fit it. I did have the jeweler lie about how long it would take. I got it back a month earlier than she got & gave it to her.

I had a friend that took his GF to Hawaii to propose. I told him to be 100% sure she would say yes and/or at the very least ask her on the very last day so only the ride home could get ruined.

My wife told me what she liked ring wise. I still didn't tell her until a few years into our marriage that I bought her ring from idonowidont.com because I saw it somewhere. Was flippin awesome though, I was able to get her a certified/appraised ring (whatever that means) and a way fatter rock then I could've afforded at the time. She also LOL'd pretty hard when I told her where I got it from.
