Went on a blind date with a girl in 9th grade to the Union bowling alley. Girl was a wrestling cheerleader.

Dated for three days, then Christmas break came and my grandparents were in town so I didn't really think about calling her. We never acknowledged our short love affair (or even talked to each other) for the rest of high school.

Blind dates would give me anxiety. I've had situations where I meet friends out and they'll bring a friend who they think would mesh well with me (but that's over drinks). Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Good luck on the blind date.

you can't just go right into a blind date. there have to be a couple pre-dates that are arranged by the mutual friend(s) who are trying to set you up. something with a larger group of people where you can hang out and interact but you aren't the sole object of her/his attention. if the pre-dates go smoothly, ask her out for a real date.

Saul - girl i'm dating currently brought over a selection of DVDs to watch while hanging out at my place. among the titles was MST3K. keeper?

I get what you're saying, and yeah that helps, but straight up blind dates are a lot of fun.

What are everyone's thought's on ex's as friends? I dated this girl for about 5 months or so my freshman year (2 years ago) and now she is one of my best friends. Is that weird?
