It looks like the anti-vax movement is alive and extremely well (or maybe not) in the Midwest (what a surprise!).

Dax thinks the anti-vax movement is all libs. His proof is that a Kennedy no one knows said something once and also links about people in missouri.

He's posting articles touting republicans being against vaccination, thus owning the libs.

Try to keep up everyone.

According to Slow Dug anti-vax is a Southern thing.

A simple search yields that the anti-vax movement carries a lot of clout in Missourah . . . and I've already documented how the pinnacle of BidenVoter Leadership has repeatedly shown their anti-vax true colors.

But people like Super Slow Dug and ChiCat have completely forgotten (because they're simpletons) how BidenVoter Leadership and BidenVoter mouthpieces talked crap for 6 months on the SARS-Covid-19 vaccine (a long the same lines as the early narrative about how Trump could not be allowed to consolidate power under the umbrella of the pandemic.   Only to turn around and demand that Trump be a dictator).

The same Kennedy he used as a source to support his crazy anti-Gates views.

Neither is partisanship, paranoia, or tribalism.

Not the same, you don't have children. This is like thinking people will freak out over receiving an insurance card or a birth certificate. Sure, some may but people who are getting the shot will primarily be used to receiving shot records.
I’m not saying it would be rational. And I don’t know how old your kids are, but I only understand the analogy from when I was a kid. Based on my experience as a proud vaxxer parent I’m not sure they really do the cards anymore.

I have like a billion kids of all ages, my youngest is 20 months and yeah, we still get an updated record every shot, they are required for schools. I think whether or not they use actual cards vary by where the vaccine is given, Oklahoma County Health Department, still cards, our pediatrician in Polk County Iowa, it's a piece of paper.

I get annoyed by the 7 million dax posts and people winding his old ass up, but I gotta say it is entertaining at times to see dugout and 7 bat him around like a cat playing with a half dead mouse.

I suck at math but I think that the US is having as many new COVID cases every ten minutes as Vietnam has had during the entire pandemic.

Are ICUs even that full there?  The case count from what I saw the other day seemed pretty tame.

nope, the region was around 75% capacity and the extra level of shutdown is supposed to trigger at 85%. But they were projecting to get there in a couple weeks.

Really the only changes that can be enforced are offices closing, outdoor dining closing, and reduced retail capacity. I'm guessing the office and reduced retail capacity won't be enforced, and I'm almost positive the travel and socializing guidelines won't be followed, meaning there won't be much of an impact.

whatever

Kind of crazy how quick cali shuts things down and other states and metros never really do much additional and the results seem to be about the same.  Maybe if I researched the data that's not true but KC basically hasn't done much additional and we are just slugging through but there aren't semi trailer morgues everywhere. Knock on wood.

well, like michigan just said, nothing really changes with any given hypothetical level of shutting down.
"a garden city man wondered in april if the theologians had not made a mistake in locating the garden of eden in asia rather than in the arkansas river valley."
