Yeah, great name, unfortunately she's a centrist cash and clout grabber, who will do nothing to fix the affordable housing issue in San Francisco. She'll get to continue to hang out with really rich democrats though who will prepare her for her next political opportunity. Her type bothers me 10x more than the Candace Owens types, just the ultimate opportunist sellout.

Not the same, you don't have children. This is like thinking people will freak out over receiving an insurance card or a birth certificate. Sure, some may but people who are getting the shot will primarily be used to receiving shot records.

I really don't see anything significant happening with SF housing ever without some sort of federal intervention, it's just going to be a weird town for the uber rich and a few low-income subsidized folks. There will be politicians that will focus on just market rate or just subsidized with a few in between but no one really wants enough to make a real difference in affordability.

And obviously weddings and bars are worse but the takeaway here is that aerosolized transmission can take place over much more than six feet distance and in a very short time with the right (or wrong) airflow situation.

I’m not saying it would be rational. And I don’t know how old your kids are, but I only understand the analogy from when I was a kid. Based on my experience as a proud vaxxer parent I’m not sure they really do the cards anymore.

In my opinion, that transmission is amplified with ductless products. It's essentially a recirc unit with a coil. Would like to know if they had outdoor air for dilution introduced in the ductless unit. Perhaps they have OA connected and thus only a few infections.

In US, code requires outdoor air in commercial buildings. We also tend to use central HVAC rather than ductless units. Should aid in dispersion/dilution in US. However, many restaurant/bar systems are so grossly oversized that outdoor air economizers are taken to zero percent because of comfort issues.

Still not ideal to be in a room with a bunch of loud talking and such.

Of course, but I've also seen a lot of MAGA folks refer to the vaccine as the mark of the beast and discussing how businesses are going to bar them from entry due to not having an ID confirming their vaccination.
