Kaylee has a point up until she contends she has a right to go to concerts.  She seems to loath the crap out of the free market

Bumbling eff up every step of the way

Trump administration officials passed when Pfizer offered in late summer to sell the U.S. more vaccine doses.

Yeah, let's go all in on arguably the most logistically cumbersome vaccine of all of them.

Fantastic strategy.   Good grief.

https://www.ksn.com/news/health/coronavirus/coronavirus-in-kansas/as-virus-spreads-kansas-hospital-runs-out-of-staff/

The staff shortages have forced people like Eric Lewallen, a Gulf War veteran and alfalfa farmer who moonlights as a radiology technician, to mount a last line of defense. To keep the hospital open, he had no choice but to start living in his RV in the parking lot because he needed to be on site as the only remaining healthy staffer to perform X-rays.

“I’m it,” Lewallen said shortly after begging the hospital laundry staff to start washing his scrubs because he had run out of clean ones.

“To keep a critical access hospital open, you have to have X-ray and lab functioning,” he said. “If one of those go down, you go on diversion and you lose your ER at that point. We don’t want that to happen, especially for the community.”

Great point Dax.  How can a puss country like the USA figure out such difficult logistics like keeping things cold.  Glad we passed and waited for a logistically easier vaccine, it's only a few old people dying anyways.

So beta.

An amazingly dumbass take even for you.   Keeping things cold??  LOL.

Canada bought enough of the Pfizer vaccine to vaccinate.5% of the country.   Why? Because they have 5 or 6 other vaccines they are looking at using.

There’s 1 or 2 other vaccines in the US that are approaching EAU approval and multiple others in advanced stages of development.

I'm proud of Donald Trump for letting the rest of the world have quicker access to the first approved vaccine.  We can wait awhile for some other ones. Maybe Moderna can suddenly brew up 600M doses by themselves.

Doesn't really fit his MAGA approved america first mantra but proud of him.

The same political party where one of its leading figures openly questioned the safety of the vaccine and said we needed to wait until Biden was in office before distributing the vaccine.

The same person that oversaw the deaths of tens of thousands of people in his own state because of his donor driven policy making . . . demanded that the vaccine wait additional months.

The same politically hyper partisan dipshitery from a person who continually deflects and won’t even recognize the POS (plural) that lead his party.

In this case won’t even acknowledge all the crap his party leadership talked on the vaccine for 6 months.

On top of the open admission by Pelosi that she purposely stalled a stimulus purely for partisan political reasons.

Also fascinating takes knowing one of Biden’s task force members not only openly hates older people.   But has also espoused the desire to have any vaccines first shipped out of the country to less developed countries (let them be the guinea pigs?).

Knowing full well had the administration bought more vaccines from Pfizer.  Human  excrement within the BidenVoter movement would have claimed the US was purposely harming poorer countries.

The J&J vaccine is deep into phase 3 trials.  It is a single dose vaccine that’s expected to stay stable at standard refrigeration temps for 3 months.

This substantially reduces the logistical and storage demands.

But in Phil Titola world keeping 100 million doses of vaccine at super freezing levels is easy.

J&J vaccine would be a much better candidate for poorer countries who have legit logistic concerns for a super cold double dose vaccine.  Positioning the Trump administration's "decision" to not secure the vaccine that was furthest along 4 months ago as some sort of 4D chess that we knew it would be too hard logistically is so effing stupid I can't even believe it's a real reply.

Now we're begging Pfizer to get us more and they are like "ehh, maybe June dummies, we got other customers".

Unfortunately Phil your beloved bureaucrats who are still sitting on billions upon billions of CARES act dollars are now all tin cupping it on vaccine distribution.

Only the stupidest of the stupid (In other words, you) can’t see the advantages of a single dose easily storable vaccine.   Your beloved Trudeau is only ordering enough Pfizer to vaccinate .5% of his population.   Because they understand their large footprint and logistically simpler vaccines are on the way. Not to mention less exposure to an impacted population in having only to get a single dose.

But you’re a hyper partisan dummy so it’s not surprising you have this take.
