i think it does help signal to people to heighten precautions, but the news of rising cases, hospitalizations and deaths does that on it's own, so i'm not sure how much it adds.

A simple search yields that the anti-vax movement carries a lot of clout in Missourah . . . and I've already documented how the pinnacle of BidenVoter Leadership has repeatedly shown their anti-vax true colors.

California is certainly doing better than most states.  Inland LA and the rural counties contribute the bulk of the cases, there are an assload of farm workers in this state who work in close proximity to each other daily.

Things are definitely going poorly now

South Korea has highest case count since the spring and Japan is setting new daily records.   

Germany riding a roller coaster of at or near new daily records every other day. 

In LA the mayor allows big corporations, like major movie productions to continue to do WTF they want while he hammers small business with restrictions.
