Oh good grief. Seeing Skylar be that helpless and knowing it was a very interesting subplot. Knowing you have no control and hoping for your spouse to die because that's the only good thing that can happen to you? Have you ever seen that done before? It was probably the first time that Anna Gunn has actually had to act, and she did a great job. And watching Walt react to it, seeing his eyes start to ponder it over and wondering if the old Walt, who cared about his family, who started selling meth for his family, was going to be affected by what she said was amazing. You still didn't know if this arrogance was a phase or not until that point. And now you have to wonder if Skylar is planning his death. The last tick of the watch at the end of the episode sounded more like a gun than a tick on a watch.
The only thing I didn't like about the episode was the intro. I like the point it made, that Walt has totally given up on trying to keep his money a secret, but the shots they did of the two cars in the driveway was not Breaking Bad. I didn't recognize the director's name, so I doubt he's done very many episodes if any. But going back and forth to the beat of dubstep totally made me lose focus of the point and only recognize what he was doing with the camera, which is rarely a good thing.
Edit: Just rewatched the last scene in the episode. Definitely a gun clicking.
