It's really turned into The Wire vs. Breaking Bad, huh?

I'm always #teamwire but I very much enjoy BB. I just don't like when they get farfetched like the magnets and train robbing. Everything else was great.

Yeah, I mean the magnet was completely redic.  This train thing felt like a bit of a production and not in keeping with the reality of the show on its own terms, but in the context of the magnet the train is kind of "why not?" at this point.

I'm hoping Walt's ego will catch up to him soon enough and this isn't just vince gilligan's ego we're watching.

i thought they did the train bit in a manner that was believable. they weren't running on the top of a train moving at 100 mph or anything like that.

I think that as the stakes get higher, they've made the show more and more fantastical to make it fit. When they first talked about robbing the train, I thought it was ridiculous. But when I saw how they did it, I didn't think it was too big of deal.

I'm soft, did not enjoy seeing the kid get blasted.  Walts crocodile tears in hanks office was great, I'm starting to root for hank, like hope skylar, Walt, Walt jr(that breakfast loving mother rough rider) get offed and the last scene is hank with a grown up Holly and she calls him dad.

Jesus, the whole train scene was some of the most intense television I'd ever seen. Also loled at "Emo McGee".

Someone pointed out that in the season opener, Walt is addressed as Mr. Lambert. Lambert is Skyler's maiden name. It seems to me that by the time Walt is on the run, Skyler is dead. Just my thought.

really?   because they could have put that truck in neutral and let it roll backwards, problem solved.

watched epis 502-505 the other night.  incredible run of shows with an awesome ending.  the train heist was great.  the skylar depression and revolt is great.  the Mike story trying to cover his guys in jail is great.

questions -

skylar/walt/cigarettes/ricin ???   :sdeek:

what's going to happen when Hank finds the bug in the family photo and figures out Walt is Heisenberg?  :curse:

could Mike be any greater of a character?  :nono:

And what is Jesse going to do ... narc - go to Hank?   :surprised:

when do we get to see more Saul?

Episode 8 is called "Gliding Over All". It is a Walt Whitman reference. It is roughly the 5th reference to him in the Breaking Bad series. Not-so-ironically, Walt Whitman died of a lung disease that most believe to have been lung cancer.

predictions for tonight?

I think the no witnesses thing means Walt starts going loco and tries to get all the guys on payroll offed.  Also, Walt has to go back to Hank's office doesn't he?

Also, Skylar isn't going to just spill everything to Marie is she?

Also, breakfast with Flynn at Hank and Marie's?

Nevermind, looks like im 2 episodes behind.
