Hmmm, a flood aggie fan with a trust fund. Does her dad sell Flood Insurance?
No but her father was crucial in the development of the deicing chemical agent used for airplanes and was also instrumental in assisting the inventor that developed the adhesive used on Post-it notes for 3M corporation. I would have assumed he invented some patented mold remover product, but that was a no.
Bullshit. That was Romy and Michelle.
This had me worried so I did some research on it this morning (I looked up what Romy and Michelle was). Her father was born and raised in Kentucky and began working for 3M corporation in the 70s (not sure yet the exact years, don't really care). As a young scientist, he assisted the inventor and 3M with the application of the adhesive while in grad school. He did not invent it, he merely assisted. 3M loved his involvement and moved him to a better paying job in Iowa (which has a 3M location in Ames). There, he worked on adhesives for tape and the deicer used on airplanes. He became a higher up at 3M in Ames. I know her father is older and her mother is younger from what she has said. It is a new "relationship" (for lack of a better term) and I will give her the benefit of the doubt on this one, but the timing of it seems plausible.
