Yes, but not a substantial amount. And the pros far outweigh the cons with this much employment equity imo. I’ve reached the point that I have freedom to build my team however I want, wherever I want. Also I work for a Swiss company and the Euros have some pretty ridiculous incentives for tenure. At this point (15 years with Co) I get a 14%(!!) salary match for my 401k (I have a pension that they quit funding and now they just dump an assload more to my 401k), better than industry bonus structure, long term incentive plans on top of that, 36 days of paid time off a year + the usual holidays, a bunch of other crunchy perks.
