He has one rough ridin' rebound this half.

Guys, Mak is a rough ridin' space cadet out there. I honestly don't think he's lazy, he just forgets he's playing basketball about once a shot clock.

oscar is fine. More fine than I thought he would be. Watching Undy's team rack up 237 points in the last two games has me feeling sad though.

Need some "The Adjuster" memes. "Just when you thought he couldn't adjust any further...he did." *deal with it shades*
I tried to make a bunch of the adjuster memes but the adjuster broke through the computer and adjusted all of them
What a legend.

I'd start Sloan and Carti right now. Dejuan is still feeling his way. No need to add any pressure to that process.

These dudes can't shoot. Luckily the extended three point lines opens up driving lanes and they're still figuring this out. It's why they have looked differently each half, they get the halftime adjustment to attack those lanes off of the dribble.

Part of me is hoping that Sean Williams is able to come back and help with our lack of shooting, but I think all of me knows that he wouldn't actually help. He may actually be the lead Clankmigo.

Kansas State Basketball / Low shooting percentages...are they bad?
« on: November 14, 2019, 07:18:20 AM »
So the basket cats are 1/32 from behind the arc in the first half of our games so far this year. Is that bad? I mean, we keep winning, but it seems bad. Should our freshmen bigs be shooting it more? They seem to have nice touch from the outside, and our guards aren't shooting worth a crap. What's the answer, dudes?

We won’t get Muscadin. This commit assured that imo.

This is definitely true. That's okay though, oscar has got a couple dudes to work with down low, and we should always run four guards, so we're fine.

Is there something wrong with the wood floor at our practice facility? These foot problems didn't start cropping up until it was built. I need a scapegoat, and oscar is under the shelter of my good graces right now.

Nope, he's just going to go full Barstool troll on Brooke Pryor on Twitter.

I mean, the PAC 12 did not and does not do shared titles, right? KU would have not won the conference (under the same circumstances as '70s UCLA) three times over their "streak" because of losing to the co-champion head to head. The streak is a rough ridin' sham, and always has been.

Working theory of mine: remember that rat that controlled that ginger chef by pulling his hair in that Disney movie? I think Mawein has a brain parasite that pulls on his synapses right at the last second before he's about to do something normal, and he just rough ridin' freaks out and punts the ball out into the crowd or some crap.

If KU goes 4-2, there's practically no way we don't win outright. We would have to totally collapse.

Also, Baylor reno is hot sex. Texas reno is bland NBA wannabe. Love TCU's digs. Would take.

Guys, I hope they don't eff up the OOD renos. Also, hate the current facilities plan from an aesthetic POV. No thanks on the current layout, it looks...awkward.

Thanks, chum1, that was a delightful treat this morning.

The key to our game will be rebounding. Mason will not go off because we'll switch everything and all the guards can defend. They're the best offensive rebounding team in the league and we're the best defensive rebounding team. I wish I had someone tip nerd out with and do a film session as to why we rebound so well, despite having an elite rebounder like Baylor does. What we do on the boards as a team is impressive.

Would be a good game for Cartier to get some more minutes. Should help with the D rebounding.

Yep. First game I watched since Marquette. It was very smart of me to stop watching. It was very stupid of me to start watching again. oscar will keep jerking us around as long as we employ him.

Guys, oscar is just unlucky. It's definitely the foot injuries that are killing us tonight, not that our players looking like they couldn't possibly give less of a eff.

Braet is legit
Taylor Braet may very well be legit, but I think our fanbase possibly overvalues him because he is young, energetic, and knows how to use twitter. Every other program has a guy just like him. I want to know whether he's good at his job or not. The best you can say is that we don't know yet b/c LHC Bill Snyder intentionally hamstrung him.

He's recruited quite a few KC guys, hasn't he?
Yes, he actually has, and it is nice that he has at least one market he's familiar with, but largely he has had no contact with the richest Big 12 talent pools.

So, we've brought in a guy that has never recruited the Big XII footprint, and we've retained the recruiting coordinator that didn't bring in anything but last place classes. Is there a reason why I should believe this staff will be able to recruit?

I'll melting down unapologetically on social media. You guys should do that. Very cathartic. Also, very funny to watch the hayseeds respond.
