Edn is quite literally the worst. At one time, I think bubbles said he would push p1k3 over on his barstool if he saw him in Aggieville. I think I'd do the same to ednksu

Jeez. What a douche

But to answer the question I'd say Tupac's murder and it's cover up

I've never been furloughed, but isn't it kind of like getting a vacation, except that after the vacation is over you get paid for all your time off? Or is a state furlough different than a federal furlough.

Also, if you're deemed a "nonessential employee" - isn't that about the time you start looking for a new job?

I was furloughed and was hoping to get this week off. Start a new job next week.  :curse: :curse: :curse:

I doubt you would have been paid for your time off if you were furloughed. This isn't the US government.

should have emphasized wanting the week off

Hey Pike, have you thought about living in Lawrence? Kind of splits the difference, ya know?

I have, yes.

Goodness, don't like to hear this.

Yeah. I talked to him over some brewskies last fall during a Royals game. Super cool guy. Seems like he may need to get it together though.

Is there no equivalent job in kc?  If not, and you really like that job, suck it up and find a Topeka address.  Yes, commuting long distance sucks super bad.

Not really. My industry is kind of odd so I'm lucky to get an opportunity in Kansas (I lived in Sys country for a while and was then supposed to move to Indiana but I quit that job). But man...Topeka? I just don't think I can do it.

Got a job offer in Topeka that I accepted so I'm gonna be commuting from MHK until my lease is up this summer. After that I'm not sure what I'll do. I want to move to Kansas City where all my friends and family are, but that's like an hour drive each way. Anyone else do this or know anyone who does? Does it suck ass? What are the costs etc? TIA for any input.
