There is a bill here in Texas introduced by a republican to fully legalize the possession and usage of marijuana with practically no restrictions. The congressman's reasoning was that it is an affront to the Creator to make His plant illegal. Surprisingly, it passed committee and may be voted on before the end of this legislative session in early June, at which time it will be soundly defeated. Still pretty shocking...

I assume that, in addition to smoking it, you'll be able to grow it and smoke it recreationally, which is good recreation imho.

I always lol at the thought of marijuana being medicinal. Just say you want to get high. Why pretend like it has healing properties? When I was in high school and didn't tell my parents I needed some medicinal Jim Beam for my headache and anxiety. I just paid some idiot to buy it for me.

There is another bill being voted on in Texas to allow the manufacture and use of cbd oil for the treatment of childhood epilepsy. For the most part, I agree with you. However, my mother (very conservative) was an oncology RN forever and I was shocked to hear her say that she's all for medicinal marijuana because of what it can do for chemo patients.
