Jake 3rd Team AA
First K-State guards to make AA since Rolando.
It's not the actual college attending folks that are usually the issue . . . it's the low self esteem non college attending bandwagoners that are usually the issue. In ku's case they have a $hitload of them. Other schools like OU, Cornhole and Texas have truckloads of them as well.
Small college attending, large school bandwagoners are also quite annoying at times.
dear ksu bball,
please give me post season memories* this season. i mean, jfc, go on a run or something.
your emaw,
catzacker
*good ones
This. At least let us live to play the 2nd weekend. Its been a long time. A long time.
K-State's ball movement is non-existant. The offense is basically get the ball in the hands of Clemente/Pullen, and let them throw up a deep three, or drive to the lane out of control and hope to get a foul called.

This is embarrassing.
Being Top 10 is never embarrassing.
Extremely embarrassing. Doubt I watch either of our final two games.
I really like the fact that Denis is a Senior.
Know the real reason I hate Currie? Because he is going to ditch us and Grandpa's going to get wheeled upstairs so he can drop quotes like these:Um, do you remember the type of players he had during the DOD? OB wouldn't get his hands dirty in the AAU system, but he would gladly let a coach go that route for wins. But yeah, he's never going to be AD.
QuoteHas Osborne studied those schools for clues on a turnaround?
“Not particularly, no,'' he said. “It's more about what we're doing here.''
Overall, Osborne has paid close attention to the influence of AAU coaches on recruiting.
“There's nothing illegal about that,'' he said. “But most everybody in basketball today decries that the high school coach is not nearly as influential as the AAU coach.''
....
Osborne said some AAU coaches demand payment for their “recruiting service,'' which he said “may just be a mimeographed piece of paper with phone numbers.''
Other AAU coaches, he said, want invitations for high-paid speaking engagements at university clinics, or they demand fees to participate in certain tournaments.
Said Osborne: “The question is, ‘Do you want to go down that road or not?' Doc has not done that. We have not paid the large speaking fees, and I admire him for that.
“I'm not saying that's why we've never had a national championship in basketball. But it's a very difficult landscape to navigate for any coach.''
What if Sadler wanted to get into the AAU recruiting game?
“I certainly wouldn't be encouraging that,'' Osborne said.
PFFFFFFFFT
Is the implication here that Warden Tom ran some boy scout troupe out on the field? The problem is that they are old dudes barely able to follow their own blackberry. The concept of AAU might be a little much to introduce at this late stage.

Of all of the things you could make fun of us for tonight or Frank you choose this.
Haven't been angry since ku game
The Dobermans plus Gus equals love at first sight type of romance. Denis may cause Gus to die with his 3 point display.
Each night is a separate ticket. You buy a ticket to Monday night and you get to see TWO basketball games. Then, you have to buy another ticket for Tuesday night and you get to see TOW MORE basketball games. Its suppose to be for both nights right? It only says Monday for me, don't get it. Thought the deal was for tix for both nights. Am I Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) and not understanding this correctly or what? Explain it to me as if I were a 6th grader.Got a couple in 106 for Tuesday for $65. Not sure what the hell I just bought tickets for. Both games that day, just champ game??? Do they throw in a power towel and some hot tamales?
yeah, both games.
Re: Frank and a Florida school
Makes sense, given the state of our recruiting the past year or so -- despite our struggles everywhere else ( ) the man has great connections down there and can utilize them better if he's closer. Not sure he'd see a lateral-ish move to Florida State or Miami as a downgrade if it means he can recruit better.
In other words, I think we have good reason to sweat every time one of the big 3 has a job opening.
CartierFor3 and J-Dub will be sitting in section 113 both nights with 8 other EMAWs. Row 18 first night, 19 second.
Anyone know how many rows are in each section of the Sprint Center?
That should be about half way or a little more up the lower level.
Dom must simply be a mental midget.
I mean the guy has given us 1 good game all year, and a moment here and there, and he's been absolute $hit against MU and ku.
Really Dom . . . Really??
dude. could have told you that three years ago.
his arriving on campus as a 23 year old freshman wasn't an accident...
still love him though. except when the D doubles down and gives him thirteen ft. to work with, and he plays patty cake with the effing ball. but i digress...
