K-State's ball movement is non-existant.  The offense is basically get the ball in the hands of Clemente/Pullen, and let them throw up a deep three, or drive to the lane out of control and hope to get a foul called.

Any player who is fast = out of control right BMW?

This is embarrassing.

Being Top 10 is never embarrassing.

Extremely embarrassing.  Doubt I watch either of our final two games.

Dude you are so hardcore.

I really like the fact that Denis is a Senior.

I really like the fact that Denis wants to win and doesn't shrug off losses.

Know the real reason I hate Currie?  Because he is going to ditch us and Grandpa's going to get wheeled upstairs so he can drop quotes like these:

Quote
Has Osborne studied those schools for clues on a turnaround?

“Not particularly, no,'' he said. “It's more about what we're doing here.''

Overall, Osborne has paid close attention to the influence of AAU coaches on recruiting.

“There's nothing illegal about that,'' he said. “But most everybody in basketball today decries that the high school coach is not nearly as influential as the AAU coach.''

....

Osborne said some AAU coaches demand payment for their “recruiting service,'' which he said “may just be a mimeographed piece of paper with phone numbers.''

Other AAU coaches, he said, want invitations for high-paid speaking engagements at university clinics, or they demand fees to participate in certain tournaments.

Said Osborne: “The question is, ‘Do you want to go down that road or not?' Doc has not done that. We have not paid the large speaking fees, and I admire him for that.

“I'm not saying that's why we've never had a national championship in basketball. But it's a very difficult landscape to navigate for any coach.''

What if Sadler wanted to get into the AAU recruiting game?

“I certainly wouldn't be encouraging that,'' Osborne said.

PFFFFFFFFT
Um, do you remember the type of players he had during the DOD? OB wouldn't get his hands dirty in the AAU system, but he would gladly let a coach go that route for wins.  But yeah, he's never going to be AD.

Is the implication here that Warden Tom ran some boy scout troupe out on the field?  The problem is that they are old dudes barely able to follow their own blackberry.  The concept of AAU might be a little much to introduce at this late stage.

Touche

The quote I put in my sig line says it all.  Frank represents what EMAW is all about.  He worked his ass off his entire life to get this chance.  Nobody I'd rather have as our coach.

Is he even "SO PROUD" to be their coach?

27034
Of all of the things you could make fun of us for tonight or Frank you choose this. :dunno:

That's what I would choose.  That's what's making me the most  :curse:.  Maybe somebody with a better HBBIQ can explain to me why I shouldn't have a complete powerespect meltdown.  Energy, Lou, and Dom are all big liabilities on offense right now and we're struggling to function right now in the half court.  shazbot! it.  I'm gonna just expect the worst from now on.

currie looking smart right about now.  :dunno:

No

Haven't been angry since ku game

Most embarassing part was the coaches having to wave their arms to get the crowd to cheer.  Looked pathetic on TV.  shazbot! GREEN

At least we don't play another game in the OOD this season.

Harlan was elite at this game.  Of course, I didn't know that at the time because I was too busy sitting forth row center court behind Pat Riley.  You can see me if you pause between the 52 and 53 second mark

The Dobermans plus Gus equals love at first sight type of romance. Denis may cause Gus to die with his 3 point display.

Wouldn't mind Kevin Harlan or Gus Johnson.  Would love a Denis pull-up three followed by a Harlan "THE ICE COLD 3 POINT BASKET"

(I gave Lefty his name)

Got a couple in 106 for Tuesday for $65.  Not sure what the hell I just bought tickets for.  Both games that day, just champ game???  Do they throw in a power towel and some hot tamales?

yeah, both games.
Its suppose to be for both nights right? It only says Monday for me, don't get it. Thought the deal was for tix for both nights. Am I Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) and not understanding this correctly or what? Explain it to me as if I were a 6th grader.
Each night is a separate ticket.  You buy a ticket to Monday night and you get to see TWO basketball games.  Then, you have to buy another ticket for Tuesday night and you get to see TOW MORE basketball games.

Re: Frank and a Florida school

Makes sense, given the state of our recruiting the past year or so -- despite our struggles everywhere else ( :flush:) the man has great connections down there and can utilize them better if he's closer.  Not sure he'd see a lateral-ish move to Florida State or Miami as a downgrade if it means he can recruit better.

In other words, I think we have good reason to sweat every time one of the big 3 has a job opening.

 :runaway:

Good chance Miami will be open

CartierFor3 and J-Dub will be sitting in section 113 both nights with 8 other EMAWs.  Row 18 first night, 19 second.

Anyone know how many rows are in each section of the Sprint Center?

That should be about half way or a little more up the lower level.

Beautiful.  Should be fun.

Dom must simply be a mental midget.

I mean the guy has given us 1 good game all year, and a moment here and there, and he's been absolute $hit against MU and ku.

Really Dom . . . Really??

dude. could have told you that three years ago.

his arriving on campus as a 23 year old freshman wasn't an accident...

still love him though. except when the D doubles down and gives him thirteen ft. to work with, and he plays patty cake with the effing ball. but i digress...

What's frustrating is how little he's developed this year.  I expected him to move past the rough street  was when he showed up to campus.

Tonight showed that for us to advance beyond the sweet 16 - Wally, Rodney and JR need to consistently produce on both ends of the floor.

Because Lumbering Lu, Energy and Dom (aside from the fluke nub game) are nothing but dead weight on offense. uk's D just left Dom and Energy alone on the perimeter and clogged the lane. They doubled Lu, every unfortunate time he got the ball and got costly turnovers. It's not a secret. Good teams have exploited these glaring weaknesses over and over the past couple of years.

To be elite, we need Wally and Rodney to play like they have in both uk games, for the rest of the season.
This

I also think the zone is a big problem.  After Self called the timeout they ripped it apart.  I know we had foul problems, but we are not a good zone team.

I will be at Kite's,  :drink: $1 wells, beers, shots, burgers, fries, onion rings, EMAW.

Even though all the food is crap and half the time the retards running it dont know what channel the games on I will be there as well.

Last time I went there was for the Colorado football game.  The manager didn't realize he didn't have the channel until the game started.

Anyone?
