No equipment required, also Shaun T is less annoying than Tony (although you are working so hard you barely even hear him)

Well, I'm one week in and I'm pretty sore.  I've learned a couple things:

1. Tony is annoying
2. The girls on the DVD's are not pretty
3. Yoga sucks
4. I am weak

Overall, I think I'll be able to stick to it.  My last day will be on Thanksgiving so that worked out well.

#1 and 2 are the biggest reasons that I can't do it regularly.

Just started doing crossfit. Anyone heard of it? I'm out of shape but some of the workouts make me feel like I'm obese.
Also I don't think I'll ever be coordinated enough to do a double under.(jump-rope)

Good luck bro. I'll say this, it's only for certain people. I definitely would not recommend it to everyone. I worked at 785crossfit in manhattan for a while and did the workout. It's great if you've got the right kind of mindset/personality for it.

luckily both abana bros are doing it....both have been doing it for about half a year though so they are way better at it, quite frustrating but motivating.
I agree though, it definitely isn't for everyone, but it is nice to have a workout  from hell and it be done in about 15 mins.

I tried crossfit for about 2 months just because i like trying everything. It's kind of crazy how it brainwashes you in absolutely destroying your body every day. Granted I was probably pushing myself a little harder because i was getting certified as a trainer at the time, but damn that program turned me into a freak. I was doing sets of 40 kipping chinups and other ridiculous stuff. I look back at it now and think wow, that was a lot of pain just to be able to do ridiculous stuff like that. It does give you some insane full body strength and conditioning.

I have no where to put a pull up bar.  8' ceilings in my living room and have an 8'-3" standing reach.  goddamnit!

you really don't need the pull up bar but it's good.

also, you hook it into a doorway and bend your legs, i'm v tall (taller than sys) and it works fine.  v hard to do, makes arms big.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.
