Italian teams are garbage. This is the same Milan that is  :cheese: with the league

both italian team lose their home legs.  doesn't get easier as inter host bayern munich next week.

man i cant believe arsenal won their leg. rvp's goal was brilliant, though arshavin's was pretty awesome too.

still think barca advances, but arsenal definitely has a shot. depends on if puyol is playing at camp nou.

as a tottenham fan, aren't you supposed to hate arsenal?

anyway, if they can replicate that in league then i think we might have a race for the EPL title.  need to make up a couple points before manchester united comes to the emirates on 30 APR

yeah, saw that

was pretty skeptical about his coming back in the first place because it was kind of rushed, but this is why im glad that we signed pienaar, to bolster some depth

chelsea nearly guarantees advancement to the quarters securing a 2-0 lead on the road in the 1st leg

madrid draws on the road but gets an important away goal.  madrid had lost their last 6 to lyon.

tomorrow we have united @ marseilles and a rematch of last year's final: munich at inter milan.

i absolutely cannot wait for inter-munich

schweinsteiger vs snjeider in the middle is going to be a very fun matchup and arjen robben is getting back to form (even though he is a gigantic douche)

i hope marseilles destroys man u

inter breaks the heart of Munich fans scoring in the 88th minute to advance to the quarters.  looked like a great game (i only caught the extended highlights).  Munich begins the game w/ an 1-0 aggregate lead.

eto'o opens the scoring for Inter tying it up 1-1

munich answers w/ 2 goals in the first half going up 3-1.

inter escapes multiple threats and close calls that would have put them down for the count.

schneider gets 1 back in the 65th minute giving Inter life

pandev scores a beautiful goal off great work from Eto'o to give Inter the winning goal in the 88th minute.

I hope Torres breaks through tonight. Number 1 goal is for Chelsea to advance, but close to that has to be the goal of getting Torres on the board to let the flood gates open.

HA! Tell Sir Fergie to quit his crying and his fanbase to quit their whining. Honestly. United takes the cake for idiocy after any loss. They TRULY believe that every game is a pre-determined win for them.

I'd like to wish Tottenham good luck, because they'll Fing need it

Have you watched any United/Chelsea games @Chelsea in the last 3 years? Phantom penalties, red cards, etc. etc.

some mayhem watching the games from earlier today.  Madrid capitalizes on an early Tottenham red card and trounces them 4-0.  included some very nice goals: a volley from Ronaldo and an amazing strike from Di Maria.  this result paves the way for a Barcelona-Real Madrid semi-final  :crossfingers:

not to be outdone Inter comes out in the 1st minute of their match catching the Schalke keeper off the line after he heads the ball clear.  Stankovich volleys the header from midfield into the net.  now in the 68th minute Inter is falling apart - down to 10 men and losing 2-4 @ home.
