Had a hit and run with a squirrel this morning on Ward Parkway.   :driving:

good job kermit, head, body, or tail?  any crunching noises?

Um... Mods (other than Clams i guess) please report Kermit's IP address to the authorities.   :curse:

Thanks, it was my first hit and run since 97 I think (which was a racoon or skunk).  Little guy couldn't decide which way he wanted to run and ultimately, my front passenger tire made the choice for him.  Heard a loud crunching noise.

Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

I once caught a bluegill at the lake and kept it as pet.  Then I fed it cheese and it died.  The end.

Was driving in a car with 2 other people when I spotted a deer a ways off the road and I yelled "Deer!" and pointed and was pretty enthusiastic. The other people in the car barely even looked and acted as if they didn't care. I was all like "wtf is wrong with these people?" Seeing a deer is awesome.

Giant dead bunny in my yard this morning.  No marks on him at all.  Pretty sure Kat Stupid Fitz tortured it until it died.  This will be her largest kill.  Makes me  :curse: and  every time.  I liked Bugs and will miss him lots.  Kat is on punishment.

A tree in my neighbors yard fell over in a storm a long time ago. My cat found a bird's nest on the ground and went ahead and murdered all the chicks that were in it. It was kinda awesome.

I like to think of my cat as "Willie" and the birds were "Gayhawks"  :powerespect:

Last night there was a huge toad in my driveway just chilling there, hunting june bugs.  So I kneeled down and tossed a couple in front of him and he snatched them up so quick!  :horrorsurprise:

Similar story, I smoke and I always like to smoke outside to keep my house from smelling like crap..

Anyway, so I have this toad that sits out there under the flood lights of the garage, you know, eating bugs and what not as they fly around the light.. I'll sit there and watch him snatch those bugs up and sometimes I'll toss junebugs or beetles and slow crap that I can catch with minimal effort(There are MILLIONS of effing bugs down here BTW, another reason the south sucks ass)..

Anyway, one night I was tossing him some beetles and stuff, the usual, and I was having fun doing this and kind of forgot what I was doing and my cigarette had burned all the way down to the filter.. It was still lit and had a huge cherry on it, but without thinking I just kind of tossed it on the ground like usual.. Well, the dumbass toad thought it was another bug  and gulped the LIT cigarette down !!!

Oh man, he was pissed after that.. I thought he'd try to spit it out but nah, he just kind of hopped/waddled around in pain for a minute and then was cool..

What do you expect from someone who values life so little that he will spend $1000's a year just to slowly kill himself?

the windows over the back of our office overlook a lake where a bald eagle lives.  if you look down you can see the roof of the first two stories that jut out further than the upper floors.  what did steve dave see on the second floor roof the other day?  you guessed it, rabbit's head.  did the eagle eat it and leave the head there?  did the rabbit explode and it's head landed on the second floor roof?  these are mysteries that will never be solved.  unsolvable mysteries if you will.

i absolutely destroyed an armadillo the other day on the highway.  poor little guy crossed the road during a heavy rain storm...i centered over him, but my car is too low to the ground, apparently.  saw several body parts fly out from behind the car.

i hope he does armadillo stuff in animal heaven.
