You know what's best about the original?  You don't have to be stupid enough to need voice over for the animals.  YOu can just tell what they are doing/thinking, and after all they are just animals.

When I was in 3rd grade, the neighbor kid next door (5th grade) had a great dane and a cat.  One time when ringing his doorbell, the door opened, the cat ran out with the great dane hot on his tail.  The cat stopped and took a quick emergency poop (fear reaction?) and continued fleeing the great dane.  The great dane, pursuing at high speed, came to a sudden stop, sniffed the poop, ate it, and continued his high speed pursuit.  I lost a lot of respect for dogs that day.

My dog fell through the ice at my parents pond yesterday and I had to jump in to get her. It was very cold, would not advise.
