Bidenflation for pizza deliveries

I just made my first delivery order in 6 months... Maybe longer.

A couple 10 dollar pizzas that would be 5 or 6 bucks a piece with pickup.

Delivery charge 4.99!

I'm a mile away

I wasn't about to get up and protest in person but I asked the driver how much they were paid...

He said he just graduated and wasn't staying but 5 per hour for delivery and 7 in store.

Are you freaking kidding me? I told the kid I didn't short him but I'm not giving him 15 or 20% like a waiter if you're flat charging me 5 bucks for a delivery

Thanks Biden, you made me never order delivery again. It's things like these that kill economies. Those first jobs aren't going to be there anymore when drivers are losing money
1 edit

"I stiffed the kid on the tip and then I told him I didn't stiff him".  What a magnanimous human.

He knew the kid didn't get the money, but Biden made the pizza place charge him $5 and he was simply too pissed off to pay the kid a normal size tip. So Biden is making this kid lose his money and kids won't work for free. That's what destroys economies.

I hate that rough ridin' guy. If you can't afford to have pizza delivered, don't order it. You know the cost beforehand.

I enjoyed this reply to a string of people talking about the price of soda. Very aggie.

Those were the Aggie women. You can tell because they weren't very good with money.

star seed, do you ever post there, or just lurk? If you have an account, you should start a thread about how middle-aged men wearing their Aggie class rings is actually kinda lame.

I make a salary of $180 so it's not like I am poor- but in this economy I am cutting to the bone:

no new clothes

no going out of town and staying at hotels for a weekend night

not picking up food from restaurants

not driving on the weekends to hikes out of my area

not adding screen windows

I have about 30 things I am doing now to save money with this insanity..

If he's doing all of that, definitely. He might be making $180 a week.

Had Covid made you rethink 9/11

waco_aggie0511:29p, 5/20/22
Anyone rethought their position about 9/11 being an inside job after seeing the evidence now of how our own govt used Covid to steal an election and take away more of our rights? I mean I never would have dreamed in 2019 this is where we'd be 3 short year later. And that's not even digging into the possibilities is was actually developed and purposefully released for such ends, which a strong case can be made.

So given the facts of what's transpired the past 2+ years, are you more open to the fact 9/11 May have been an inside job to fuel the Military industrial complex and oil industries?

Yeah. That has to be fake. No true American would slander the oil industry in this manner. Also, does taking swipes at the "military industrial complex" take away your ability to "support our troops"?
