I didn't know the drone thing was politicized.  But I also haven't been paying very much attention.

The interest in it isn’t politicized. I’m curious what they are doing, but realize a lot of stuff needs to be secret. The people demanding we shoot down anything airborne and that believes Venus and a Cessna 172 are UFOs just happen to all be MAGA and fun to mock.

You’ll have to ask the Chinese. We have satellites that are amazing. We still use all kinds of low and mid (relative to satellites) altitude reconnaissance platforms. DARPA has spent piles of money researching blimps and balloon surveillance platforms on top of things like drones.

That China would like to surveil us?
That China can surveil us?
That there is something in the sky?

This stuff is happening regularly. It is just happening in the background regularly until there is an incident that gets shared with the public.

On the one hand I think 2 nuclear powers goofin isn't my idea of a good time, but Chinese spies? Prince Andrew, the most compromised man on Earth, was taken for a ride recently so we are in good company.

I don't agree with this statement. We don't need to be in a militaristic geo-strategic tug of war with China, that is a choice we are making.

Do you believe it is inevitable that we flirt with a war with China and there are not other viable strategies?
