See above for drunk posting

Also a note to our viewers. The drones are being reported in massive #blueanon strongholds and some of the most vocal about them on the political side are #blueanon politicians.

Just want to keep our viewers informed in light of the recent crap posts above

Another great Trump promise that everyone seems to support, capping or lowering interest rates on credit cards!

From Elon’s Grok 2 AI:

Quote

Donald Trump has proposed a temporary cap on credit card interest rates at around 10%, a policy he highlighted during his campaign. This initiative aims to alleviate the burden on working Americans by reducing the high interest rates, which have been reported to average around 21.5% as of May 2024 according to Federal Reserve data. Here's a breakdown of the perspectives and implications:

**Proponents' View:**
- **Consumer Relief:** Advocates argue that capping rates at 10% would significantly reduce the financial strain on individuals carrying credit card debt, potentially helping them pay off their balances quicker.
- **Political Support:** Both progressive and populist voices, including Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, have expressed willingness to collaborate on this issue, seeing it as a way to protect consumers from what they consider to be predatory lending practices.

**Critics' View:**
- **Impact on Credit Access:** Critics, including financial experts, suggest that such a cap might reduce the availability of credit, particularly for those with lower credit ratings. Banks might find it unprofitable to lend to higher-risk borrowers at a 10% rate, potentially pushing these consumers towards less regulated, higher-cost borrowing options like payday loans.
- **Market Distortion:** There's a concern that artificially lowering rates could distort the credit market, leading to less innovation in credit products and potentially reducing or eliminating rewards programs that consumers value.

**Legislative and Practical Challenges:**
- **Congressional Action Required:** Implementing this cap would require legislation, which has historically faced opposition due to lobbying from banks and credit card companies. Previous attempts to cap rates, even at higher percentages, have not gained traction in Congress.
- **Temporary vs. Permanent:** Trump described the cap as "temporary," leaving ambiguity about how long it would last and what the transition back to market rates would look like.

**Public Sentiment:**
- Posts on X reflect a mix of enthusiasm for relief from high interest rates and skepticism about the feasibility and unintended consequences of such a policy.

In summary, while Trump's promise to cap credit card interest rates has garnered support for its potential consumer benefits, its practical implementation and broader economic implications remain subjects of significant debate.

This would be terrible for me and my credit card points gang

I think the "drones" panic is a good example of how so many Americans carry handguns thinking that their trip to the grocery store might turn in to the Bourne Supermacy.

It’s a reminder for me how incredibly dumb people can act in large groups, a la the entire Trump movement.

The eternal flame of #blueanon rage now propagating another conspiracy . . . SMDH

Democratic Sen. Andy Kim of New Jersey posted videos to his X account showing what appeared to be a cluster of drones flying over the Round Valley Reservoir Thursday night. But on Saturday, he acknowledged most of the aircraft he initially thought were drones were “almost certainly planes,” he posted on X

That said, one of our most sensitive Air Force Bases - closed off flight operations for 4 hours yesterday . . . drones.

MAGA Hochul . . . just fueling the conspiracy - SMDH.  Note to viewers: Hochul had a Chinese spy on staff

Hochul announced Sunday that federal authorities are deploying a new “state-of-the-art drone detection system” to the state. She continued to call for the passing of the federal Counter-UAS Authority Security, Safety, and Reauthorization Act, which she said would “give New York and our peers the authority and resources required to respond to circumstances like we face today.”

Hochul spoke with Mayorkas twice on Saturday regarding the ongoing drone activity in her state, according to a source familiar with the conversations.

Wall Street journal editorial board on the drones

Quote

Thousands of Americans who aren’t cranks have seen drones or what they think are drones overhead. New Jersey of all places is a hotbed of sightings, for reasons no one has been able to explain. But sightings have occurred across the Northeast, as well as in California. Military facilities and critical infrastructure sites seem to be targets, if the eyewitnesses are right.

Y?et no one in Washington seems to be able to convincingly explain the sightings. A joint statement Thursday by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security said: “We have no evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security?or public safety?threat or have a foreign nexus.”

The statement added that “Historically, we have experienced cases of mistaken identity, where reported drones are, in fact, manned aircraft or facilities. We are supporting local law enforcement in New Jersey with numerous detection methods but have not corroborated any of the reported visual sightings with electronic detection. To the contrary, upon review of available imagery, it appears that many of the reported sightings are actually manned aircraft, operating lawfully.”

Yet the unexplained sightings persist. One caused Stewart International Airport in New York’s Hudson Valley to shut down its runways for an hour on Friday night. Gov. Kathy Hochul demanded answers from the Biden Administration. Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, not known as a show-boater, says he saw a flurry of aerial objects above his home in Davidsonville, Md.

Some Wichita KS drone company CEO put out a theory that the drones are searching for something, which doesn’t sound crazy.  The question is “what?” A similar theory is that they are practicing the act of searching.

Rogan apparently had a dude on saying the drones could be searching for radioactive material and that the effort is being led in secret by a single government entity who is purposely not disclosing anything to other government entities.  Of course this has really taken off now. Who knows what is true, but man oh man can Rogan sell a conspiracy. He’s got a knack for it.

One very popular theory is searching for nukes lost during Ukraine’s original breakaway from Russia and probably facilitated by the Bidens and now the Bidens have lost the nuke and bad guys are moving it around New Jersey.

So we got high level politicians which include congress people from both sides, hardcore Dem gubs etc. etc. asking the highest levels of our Federal gov't about these drones.

Yet #blueanongE has turned it into "those got damn MAGA's"

It’s proven to be very foolish to doubt the Biden’s fiendishly clever capabilities, but a double top secret lost nuke being shuttled around whilst being hunted in a clandestine operation by shadowy government forces seems a little too Jack Bauery to me. Why wouldn’t the bad guys just explode the nuke once they realized all these drones and the entire internet were looking for it?

The united states military has lost nukes before, it's not really a conspiracy theory to believe that could happen.
AFAIK there is no evidence pointing to that in this specific case, it's just a guess

That red is super suspicious (mother ship?!) and the three in a row are probably reporting back.  Let's see if they come back tonight.

The weirdest thing about (yet another) weird bit from  you, Chongs. Is that you are acting like I'm the one reporting this stuff. Also very mid posting over all, as expected.

If you're so put out by this, I suggest you start with the NJ and NY governors office(s) and the offices of several members of Congress.  They seem to be  pretty upset about this stuff.
