The problem is that none of these policies will ever get through even a pretty favorable Senate unless there is some real magic and the filibuster is gone.
kat kid, i'd also like to get your thoughts on obama's presidency and on sherrod brown.
Sherrod Brown is a very good union guy, but he's not on the Medicare 4 All train and I don't really understand why and so he's irrelevant for now.

Which is a bit of a catch-22.

anyways, if there is someone i'm not fair to due to my biases, i think it's brown. something about him rubs me the wrong way.
