Imagine believing China will stop IP theft.
Rubes.
Imagine never even trying to do anything about it
You are making things up again daxnold.
The original attempt to do something about in the TPP was so deeply flawed it's just
. It might as well have been written by the Fortune 100.
1. Would have absolutely killed innovation by any entity that didn't have 6 floors worth of lawyers
2. Pretty much all but destroyed any shred of personal privacy that remains in this world
3. It would have restricted our Congress from enhancing or amending relevant IP laws as it pertains to the U.S. and U.S. entities operating in International markets
4. Digital Locks? Forget it, gone
5. Allowed any entity to unilaterally declare (even after the fact) that digital information was protected. See ya in prison whistle blower (right up Barry's alley)
6. Copyright penalties for usage of material with no commercial intent or use would have been made much harsher
7. Completely re-written already well thought out pertinent laws in many signatory countries
8. Your smart phone; made readily accessible to law enforcement
No wonder they did it all in secret . . . again BAU for the Obama administration.
