don't forget slave labor, and poor living/working conditions/population control measures

great question tho Lick

just saw this

slave labor?

tell me more about this

poor living/working conditions...

yes but part a product of market conditions not socialist policy, right?

population control measures.

but how does this positively affect the economic realities of China?

the abundant labor force is helping to drive manufacturing prowess.

how do i square the circle you have created that China is kicking our ass and must be contained/stopped with the idea that socialism is an abject failure and cannot succeed?

Intellectual property theft, Lick.

Why is this so hard for you?   Success through theft.

I think we can all agree that over the long term, it would have been best to never challenge China's tariffs, IP theft, and industrial espionage . . . those kinds of things never hurt an economy over the long haul, so just let it ride.

Next time maybe Trump should put his balls in a vice to challenge China tariffs and IP theft. About as effective as the previous measures without wrecking the US economy.

Wrecking?

BTW, China's economy is in the tank.

If you think that’s a good thing I’d like to hear why.

That has been Dax’s talking point the entire time. Like, it’s a positive because not only did we shoot our own dicks off we also shot China’s dick off. Basically evens out.

It's not a good thing for it to be completely in the tank.   But unless they feel some pain the status quo is going to be maintained.

The U.S. economy is still very strong, but because SteveDave only knows OrangeMan bad, he thinks the US has shot "its dicks off".

Yeah, it's not like our economy sees any benefit from China being able to purchase US bonds or anything.
