I mean, we are prolly replacing him with the Jamar/Rodney combo, right? Jamar averages 3 fouls a minute!
No one should have had Final 4 expectations to begin with. No one takes into consideration how sucky the field was last year. Losing Sutton is not good, but is hardly devastating. When did KSUFans legacy posters stray from sticking to the numbers?PPG APG 3P% RPG BPG SPG 7.2 1.9 .333 5.8 0.2 1.2

If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.

He tweeted during the NBA draft that it was the "weakest" in a long time and that he's gonna get there next year.Hey! Good news for Jamar now....PG - PullenSG - McGruderSF - SamuelsPF - KellyC - AspirillaWe're really gonna miss Dom's hustle and offensive rebounds.

Remember when he fought for that rebound like crazy in the B12 tourney and hit Pullen or Denis for a wide open three? (can't remember who made the 3, because dom was so awesome on that play).Yeah.
But steve dave bet he wasn't going anywhere!
robcassidy22 Even with Sutton's transfer, Omari Lawrence still awaits final word from Frank Martin on his situation. It's never too late to change your mind. Just one more year Dom, just one more...
RunaroundSue wrote: ORLY? Sutton is staying...dumb rumors. Omari's parents are footing the bill for his tuition this year until next year. He's a very intriguing prospect that kind of had similar weight/conditioning issues as Kelly. If he gets his head on straight, like Kelly, he could be a steal. But yes, I agree....Te' and Frank have started to get Wooly type recruits lately...Obviously Te's salary isn't being used properly! This was what my cousin was told by a player a few weeks ago...guess Frank keeps a very tight lip on things or my cousin is an idiot lol.

With Kansas State down a scholarship from the departure of Dominique Sutton, the natural assumption was that Omari Lawrence would take his place on the roster. After all, the St. Johns transfer has visited Manhattan and made an announcement last week that he wanted to sign with the Wildcats. But it may be Nino Williams, a Leavenworth High School product who long ago verbally committed to K-State, who gets first crack at the open scholarship.Read more: http://blogs.kansas.com/kstated/2010/07/02/nino-williams-may-take-suttons-place/#ixzz0sZ3qx3S0
“It’s my choice,” Williams said when reached by phone. “They (the K-State coaching staff) said they would love to have me, but if I still want to go to prep school I can do that, too. They’re with me either way.”Read more: http://blogs.kansas.com/kstated/2010/07/02/nino-williams-may-take-suttons-place/#ixzz0sZ3erP00
“At first, nobody thought I was going to be a qualifier,” Williams said. “Then I started taking a lot of classes, then I qualified. I’m good to go. If I wanted to go to K-State right now as a student without basketball I could.”Read more: http://blogs.kansas.com/kstated/2010/07/02/nino-williams-may-take-suttons-place/#ixzz0sZ3XoSyO
Williams plans to talk with his family over the holiday weekend before making a final decision. He has no preference at the moment, but expects to have his mind made up by Sunday.Read more: http://blogs.kansas.com/kstated/2010/07/02/nino-williams-may-take-suttons-place/#ixzz0sZ455Gt1
This team badly needs another shooter, especially after Pullen leaves, and Nino can fill that need. These guys are a lot harder to find than guys like Omari. This would be huge to get him.
