Amazing work. Huge improvement over the government we had before DOGE.

Hey SD, let me answer this one with recent first hand experience. The Fiance and I were looking at wedding venues and toured this place which is still under construction https://www.theglasshouseatriveroaks.com/. We asked the owner what their biggest hurdle/challenge to getting everything open was and she pointed to the giant concrete slab where the glass house will go.

Apparently their glass house just arrived in the LA ports from China and is clearing customs and they still don't know how much they need to pay in tariffs to get it cleared. It was X amount when they ordered it, its Y amount now and who knows what it will be when it actually gets released. Also apparently its a huge PIA to actually pay the tariff for a small business owner who does not import stuff regularly.  :dunno:

Yes, just completely raging out by pointing out they are paying more taxes and that the president has all but certainly raped children.

Congrats to Don Trump for keeping that raping part under wraps even when that information was controlled by an administration that hated his ever living guts.

Viewers of this blog are once again reminded that this administration has invited all of our trading partners to engage in negotiations with the hope of reducing tariffs for both sides tremendously if not eliminating them outright.  Viewers of this blog are also reminded that #blueanongE are colossal derps who cannot get their head around the reality that US industry competes against enterprises that are heavily subsidized if not outright owned by the government of their respective home country/union (some of which are geo strategic adversaries of These United States) and that often times other countries have very little regulatory oversight of various enterprises and allow copious levels of corruption to permeate numerous industries - particularly in the commodities space (we won't even get into IP theft).

Walk us through the dollars involved in tariffs vs the dollars involved at #blueanon preferred/desired tax rates and other taxes placed on things like large estates, Steve.

What kind of $'s are we talking about here?

Thanks bro.

Dear AI computer in Flying Spaghetti Monster Heaven - How much money does the United State collect in tariffs vs the amount of money all government agencies in the United States collect in taxes and fees?

AI super computer in the sky says -

In 2025, the US is projected to collect $268 billion in customs duty revenue from tariffs with 100% compliance, and $228 billion with 85% compliance. However, this figure is reduced to $166 billion after offsets.

In 2024, the total amount Americans paid in taxes and fees at the federal, state, and local levels reached approximately $7.013 trillion

Dear AI super computer in the sky - tell us how much the EU has subsidized Airbus and what has the WTO said about it? (for viewers of the blog - this is one example)

The European Union provided Airbus with significant subsidies, primarily through "launch aid" loans, which were found to be WTO-inconsistent. The World Trade Organization (WTO) estimated these subsidies to be over $18 billion. This "launch aid" allowed Airbus to develop and launch new aircraft models, and was a key point of contention in a long-standing trade dispute with the United States

Viewers will note that the $18 billion was essentially start up money at Airbus' inception, Boeing contends that Airbus has received over $40 billion in subsidies (that was as of 2023)

Airbus claims to have "paid back" about $7 billion in the form of tariffs on its products and Airbus claims that Boeing has received various subsides through tax breaks and no bid contracts from the US government . . . but that really isn't the same as the government pulling out the check book and writing $40 billion dollars worth of checks.

Nah, we'll just stay here in the cuck chair, thanks tho. . . #blueanongE

Two months after Walmart warned it would raise prices due to tariffs, “some household items on Walmart’s shelves have higher prices, according to a CNBC analysis.”
