It's good that he's terrified. I wish he surrounded himself with some moderate republicans to handle crap for him though. john boehner isn't doing crap right now.

He holds too much of a grudge and is too arrogant I'm afraid, he won't hire anybody that may have slighted him.

Agreed, maybe he sat down and realized, "oh crap, I got to actually do this." I honestly bet during his talk with Obama, it must have really hit him just how many balls are being juggled. I guess be careful what you wish for. Maybe come January when the shock is over he'll get back to being what he was on the campaign trail, or maybe he'll just be just totally subdued and just get through it.

I wonder if he actually now gets a sense of the enormous responsibility he just got himself into. WE'LL FIND OUT

In the first few days he has done better than expected at being "Presidential", in fact so Presidential we are so bored or whatever he said would happen.  It will be interesting to see his demeanor when he faces the first real crisis situation.

Dealing with crisis will be very interesting for sure. Hence why I think he probably has just realized exactly what he got himself into. And every president, for better for worse are scrutinized incessantly by the media for everything they do. Sure his true supporters will have his back, but unlike running a business, which he has, and failed on many ventures, it really never hurts much for the Donald. He's pretty good at protecting his own interests. The thing is now those are now one and the same, every failure of his government like it or not is a direct reflection of him. Maybe he can successfully throw people under the bus, but I doubt it.

As much as it's easy to armchair quarterback the presidency, and part of who I vote for isn't just policy, but whether or not I think the president can handle the crap when it inevitably hits the fan.

Seriously though, he just went from not being in politics at all to being the president of the United States, that has to feel a little weird.  Idk if he ever expected to end up here when he started this.

According to Howard Stern, Trump just wanted some publicity to get NBC to pay him more.

So I was talking to a couple Kansas agriculture based businesses today. They both mentioned that around half of their Mexican employees (here legally) didn't show up for work today and probably headed back south.

Don't know why you'd claim that, but it is.
