Arresting US citizens for offering any help to (alleged) undocumented immigrants seems like a pretty logical next step on that path, though.

They were charged with tampering with evidence. They will have attorneys and get due process like any other US citizen would. I still stand by my statement that they will not be deporting US citizens.
