China is prepared for a war of attrition.

What makes you say that? Just their general history of ability to endure pain? I don't think I can read through the Dax ramblings today to see if you are just responding to specific strategy.

For the most part, Americans haven't felt much pain yet from the tariffs that Donald Trump introduced (and then partially walked back) on April 2. The damage is highly visible in financial markets, but for the moment, shelves remain stocked, inflation measures have remained muted, and there hasn't been a significant wave of layoffs in official data. But according to our guest, real pain is coming. And what's going down is worse than a trade war. On this episode, we speak with the one and only David Woo, now the founder of David Woo Unbound. He also previously served as the Head of Global Rates, Foreign Exchange, and EM Fixed Income and Economics Research at Bank of America. He says that the administration has absolutely nothing to show for its initial months in office on any front. And he says this isn't a game of chicken, where one side can blink and avoid disaster. Instead, we're seeing a "war of attrition" where damage is being done to both the US and Chinese economies as we speak. As he sees it, the China hawks in the administration have been in control, and have the impulse to obliterate the Chinese economy, which makes the situation more than just a so-called trade war. He discusses the political, market, and real economy implications of this dramatic escalation.

Xi can not lose face in front of the chinese people especially when the affront has been unilaterally applied.

this was both an economic and cultural miscalculation

The board is reminded that Scott B our SOT once worked in lock step with #blueanon/#blueanongE beloved oligarch and controller of the Democratic Party in America - George Soros - and he was a key player in helping George make a lot of money crashing the British Pound.

The fact alone should have #blueanongE genuflecting to Scott - but their hyperpartisan anti-Trump aka melting down about everything all the time way just won't allow them to do that.

BTW - he's a key architect in Trump's China tariff strategy.  So either he's using what he knows about wrecking economies to our favor - or he's the Trojan Horse inside the gate.

Stay tuned .  .

BTW - he gave a very interesting speech yesterday.

Fox News also runs stories on how perfect Dipshit's body is.

Also, isn't the FBI run by a couple of guys who, 1. Wrote a book about how Dipshit should be king, and 2. used to have a podcast that constantly acted just like a much more aggressive version of Dax?

It's a good reminder that he'll do literally everything in his power to never leave office. It's his nature.

Please provide a link - the receipts about Pedo Pete's mental status being razor sharp are extensive and would require additional data center capacity to show them all here.

So I look forward to seeing those links

Now lets get back on topic. . .so you're saying the FBI is lying about this?

Note to our viewers - When it comes to all matters anti-Trump coming out of the DOJ - #blueanon/#blueanongE believes all of them, to their core.

I on the other hand, am fully aware our government agencies embellish things or purposely diminish things in order to meet the needs of an agenda.  Particularly when it involves trying to get Democrats elected.

I honestly don’t give enough of a crap about what you think to take the time to dig any of that up. Kash wrote a kids book about Dipshit being king. Bondi goo, or whatever his name is was the podcast guy saying he would die for Dipshit, and there is a fix screen shot with a bottom bar talking about the perfection of Dipshit’s body. That is max effort you will get for that.

I'm about 15 minutes in and so far this David guy has just said China Hawks 100 times and nothing about China's plan for War of Attrition.

China is prepared for a war of attrition. The US is definitely not. What a massive fuckup.

Trumps gang of geniuses is cooking up ways to convince the balding poors that rescinding tariffs is a win.  They haven’t found one yet- but they will.

Signal thing is wild

Can I get a legal interpretation of this.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/04/restoring-equality-of-opportunity-and-meritocracy/

Obviously written by some true believer fed soc hardos. Some nice rhetoric to start out, but when it gets into the law, it's flat out dangerous lies. It's an attempt to hollow out a key equal protection principle that was developed throughout the 20th century.

Look at this: "A key tool of this movement is disparate-impact liability, which holds that a near insurmountable presumption of unlawful discrimination exists where there are any differences in outcomes in certain circumstances among different races, sexes, or similar groups, even if there is no facially discriminatory policy or practice or discriminatory intent involved, and even if everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed. "

That is flat-out bullshit. It's completely flipped backwards. It's almost impossible to prove as the proponent, unless you have the people who wrote the law on tape blatantly admitting their secret, racist motivations. Disparate impact is a bulwark against the use of seemingly race-neutral policies to effect a discriminatory purpose. When coupled with their arguments against (benign) race-conscious policies like diversity initiatives in higher education, what you end up with is a regime where you can do whatever you want for whatever reason you want, so long as you don't admit it out loud.
My winning smile and can-do attitude.

Dax is very bad at most things, but one thing he is incredibly good at is making me just not care one bit about whatever he decides he’s on about.

Probably the safest place to hide the nuclear weapon launch codes would be in the middle of one of his esoteric screeds.
