Maybe keep some sweet government contracts for SpaceX and Tesla and Xwitter

no doubt.  space x and starlink will be huge beneficiaries of gov handouts

Already are, will be more.

The analogies that #blueanon is trying to use to compare the USAID money laundering grift and other waste-fraud-abuse within the blob - hidden by sub agencies/NGO's and inextricably tied to political grifters. . . to Musk's businesses who are actually performing real, confirm-able, auditable services to the United States government is just so pinnacle #blueanon it's astounding . . . even for #blueanon/#blueanongE

https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/s/hVDnRICIyh

   this coming on the heels of an administration full of people just flat out lying their asses off about the mental capability of the POTUS (now with go to #blueanon media types sliding into DM's to take people to task for calling him out on his grifiting book deal duplicity).

The DOJ literally told us that Joe Biden was a mentally incapacitated person and yet they kept saying he was "sharper than ever" . . .  and per the current SOTH, Joe admitted he didn't even know what the EO's he was signing said or meant.

But those got damn "yes men" around Trump

What part of the proposed bill increases taxes for those income groups?

I assume it's all in their analysis here: https://itep.org/a-distributional-analysis-of-donald-trumps-tax-plan-2024/

There is nothing in the bill that increases taxes for those income groups

Hoping that means that those who produce the shot will simply go off of the WHO recommendations still.

Man, can you imagine if there isn't a flu shot?

The next few Fall/Winter seasons are going to be wild.

yeah, on the list of dumb crap from the past month, effing with the flu vaccine production is probably toward the top. So many more people will die if it isn't widely available.
Like the gutting of the Department of Education, and implementing a cruel immigration policy, discouraging flu vaccination would by far hurt the most vulnerable of our population over anyone else.

It’s almost like Trump and his doggedly loyal party is promoting the advancement of a master race of Americans.

Not race for the sake of race, socio economic status, and creating a less upwardly mobile society.

Great pic of the old man sleeping in a meeting while everyone is paying attention to the real president talk going around. I'm sure it was late in the day and he hadn't had his nap yet. Those late afternoon meetings can be pretty rough when you are really old.

So is the chart basically conveying tariffs will end up being a regressive tax because it will hit consumption?

It also assumes a complete repeal of the salt cap, I have not seen a single source that mentions that is part of the proposal

Lawler said that Trump "reaffirmed his support" for reverting to an unlimited deduction for state and local taxes.

Only need 35T to wipe out the debt. That's what like 7M gold cards? Gotta be 7M people with 5M that want in.
