Measles is less deadly than covid. I don't expect these people to care at all.
How do you figure it is less deadly than COVID?
The fatality rate is 1 in 1000 and the COVID death rate during the pandemic was like 2 or 3 in 100.
I've seen estimates of the mortality rate of measles as high as 3 in 1000 and estimates of the COVID mortality rate as low as 1 in 1000. The mortality rate ranges seem to be pretty similar.
My understanding is that measles' transmissibility (R
0) is much higher than COVID which, for me, would make it more deadly.
