2 days a week over 4 weeks is way less than what I would have guessed.

To be fair, his commute to the golf course is like 1 minute. So that’s a savings!

He's probably golfing less because he's afraid of patriots.

Good point. I wonder if DOGE will do a cost analysis of paying to protect him at Mar A Lago vs the White House?

I think there was a quite a bit of analysis during his first term. It’s a pretty huge cost.

“Can speak for the United States when stating an opinion as to what the law is.”

Two important qualifiers in there. I’m not sure when the context would arise that “the United States” needs to state an “opinion” on what the law is, but I’m also going to take a wild guess and say the purpose of the EO is NOT to simply clarify longstanding precedent.

That was literally his argument in the election fraud case I believe. The Supreme Court only partially agreed.

It’s the Elon Twitter method. It’s on purpose.

Read a post from an NCRS guy earlier.

Apparently there are zero exit interviews. So figuring out where people were with various projects and initiatives is going to be a mess to unpack.

This is so only desperate people will come back and likely at a lower pay. It’s on purpose.

Hitler never said that, and he's pretty clearly the model for all this, so Donald probably won't say it, either.

Pretty gross
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Legal guys:

Also signed EOs to take over FEC, FCC, and SEC. I'm really starting to wonder how all of this is going to shake out in 4 years. Like, i'm hopeful we still have elections by then, but man. Aside from saying he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and not lose supporters, saying he was going to be a dictator on day one is the next most truthful thing he has ever said. So say for example that there are actual fair elections and the Ds win? Will they regret all of this? I think it's pretty obvious that they are going to try and make it so they can't lose, but what if they do?  For the record, if the Dems do win, I don't want that person to be a dictator either. Will we even try or be able to unwind all of this if it's an option? Pretty fascinating if it all wasn't so grim.

I think if I were facing this mess as a newly elected president, I would need to plug the holes that allowed this situation to happen in the first place before I could even address what it would take to fix the damages.
