He's saying literally everyone in the American government knew the release of aid was contingent on Ukraine making a public investigation announcement, but no one told Ukraine that so nbd

Weird defense tbh

I just assumed that the constitution laid out rules that would need to be followed for such proceedings.

Is that not true.

FWIW - I don’t carry a pocket constitution.

I don't either, but you're on the Internet, right?

I'll look for "secret hearings" and "only one side can ask questions" in the constitution when I have more time.

BTW, the Clinton impeachment was derivative of a known commission of a crime.  There were no actual pre-impeachment investigations of any kind within Congress.

There was a special prosecutor investigation. Maybe you've heard of Ken Starr.

I just enjoy all the super concerned looks and super serious furrowed brows on Dems in front of the cameras after the one sided super secret hearings.

While Pubs  at the hyperbole and exaggerations.

Just a shame Slurs Pelosi is too afraid to put this to a vote on the floor.

Which is exactly why the term "unprecedented" is applicable to the current proceedings Captain Obvious.

Dax, are you if the opinion there should not be an impeachment investigation for this?

I don't understand this "secret hearings" and "only one side can ask questions" talking point.

The following Republicans are in the committee and are asking questions.

Devin Nunes CA
Mike Conaway TX
Michael Turner OH
Brad Wenstrup OH
Chris Stewart UT
Rick Crawford AR
Elise Stefanik NY
Will Hurd TX
John Ratcliffe TX

Wait a minute, did dax really not know that these hearings are taking place in committee and committees, by definition aren't open to everyone? He really fell for that stunt by drunk frat boy, Matt Gaetz?

Oh look, Salwell's trying to get another 15 seconds of fame, after the height of 1st world problems social media on coffee (or something of that nature), I suspect we'll see Eric hit full cancel culture with a restaurant or smoothie bar at some point in the near future.
