Previous Administration:  Be happy there's any growth at all, #newnormal, #learntocode

Current Administration:  Extreme frustration with tepid growth

so you admit the policy that was supposed to be this big growth monster didn't work.  Sure they are frustrated, this was one of the few things they've actually done while in office.

It figures that The Big Dummy would be going to bat for Elijah Cummings,  who along with his wife have just been caught siphoning money (a lot) off of their fake non profit.

But fake non-profit are the way LibDerp Leadership launders their money.

Elijah Cummings:  Accomplishing nothing, making himself rich and getting reelected by LibDerp Useful idiots.

It’s great that you bring something like this up. Since you are so in the know about this kind of stuff, what’s going on with the Trump Foundation?

The Trump Foundation stands in awe of what LibDerp Leadership accomplishes with their money laundering fake charities.   Most of them created by career politicians.

Nice deflection, tho

So let’s walk this back a minute. You are fine with Trump being a criminal and doing the exact same thing you say Elijah is doing. What you’re pissed about is that Trump was too stupid to do it as good as Elijah? Am I understanding you correctly?

You don’t have to support Cummings to know that what Trump said about people and places he supposedly represents as president was vile and reprehensible.

Of course LibDerp Nation will never call out their own who have been on the take and only "go back to their district" to ensure they get enough votes to continue to get re-elected.

In Cummings case his wife tends to co-mingle "Center for Global Policy Solutions" (I mean, what is that besides a name that sounds like one of the round table members on a National Public Radio round table?) and her own consulting firm, wait for it . . .  Global Policy Solutions LLC.

Cummings response to that was that it detracts from the "important work" that he is doing.

Not quite Fake Clinton Foundation/Fake Clinton Global Initiative level stuff, but so far the Cummings have been able to launder about $6.2 million through their fake foundation.

"The reported rat rate increased from fewer than 10 rats per 1,000 residents in 2002 to 60 per 1,000 in 2009, according to Baltimore CitiStat. A Baltimore City Health Department report that year noted that “the rodent infestation rate in Baltimore is six times the national average.” More recently, 19,869 residents called the city’s 311 number to complain about rats between Jan. 1, 2010, and April 4, 2013, with a slight bump from 7,579 in 2011 to 8,436 in 2012. (This compares to the District’s 311 calls regarding rodents, which rose from 2,820 in 2011 to 3,010 in 2012.) Personally, I’ve called Baltimore’s 311 number for rodent control once when my chubby, not-the-brightest-bulb dog started catching and killing the brazen creatures in my yard one summer; since then, dozens and dozens of rats have darted by, and I haven’t bothered calling."

It seems like a lot of people conceptualize congressional districts as fiefdoms wherein all local appropriations are made by the congressperson.

It seems that some people don't get that effective congresspeople can get a lot of things appropriated for their district.

I know how Congress works, I was talking about some dumbass on twitter that said that Baltimore was getting plenty of money but the people in Baltimore receiving it were somehow wasting it.  And that this was all somehow Cummings fault.

Where did I say I was fine with it?

Let's take a step back, you're one of the idiots who actually believes that the CF is on the up and up because Charity Navigator (after 3 or 4 years of trying) actually said they figured out what the CF was all about and gave the CF a good rating.    Of course, the reason why they couldn't figure out the CF for multiple years because there were so many sub corporations . . . which is the hallmark of money laundering.   BTW, since I know you'll start bitching, the CF still exists today, but business isn't nearly as good . . . I wonder why.
