That being said, working single mothers, homeless, etc. need other options for advanced education. And no, night classes at a JUCO isn't going to do it. It will take them 8 years to get an associate degree doing that.

They just need other options than for profit (recruiters selling their souls to enroll unfit students to keep a job) and JUCO (Takes forever to get a worthless associate degree).
It really doesn't take that much time to get an associate's degree at a juco. It's 2 years full time.

There's ppl out there like I said above that had some early obstacles in their life and they'd still like to move their lives forward in a positive way and over come them. However, they still have to take care of their family, pay the bills, etc. Then try and make school happen on top of that. This demographic doesn't graduate in 2 years, rage. I worked with these ppl for 7 years. Hearing their stories really makes you feel for some of their situations. Like kids parents passing away and having to work 80 hours a week to take care of the family.
