To be fair, a lot of the voters were probably dumb enough to believe that the wall wouldn't cost anything because Mexico would pay for it.
I don't think most of his voters voted for him because of some dumbass wall.

Emails! Coal miners!

Don't worry in about a month there won't be one person who will admit they voted for him...Including ivanka

Ivanka didn't vote for him in the primary because she was a registered democrat.

So was Trump like 10 years ago. Also, Hillary had already proven of being a incompetent loser, so they didn't want that either, after dealing with Obama for 8 years.

I can tell you for certain, that most sane Republicans that ended up voting for him, did it for potential positive economic reasons.

Just remembering (barely) back when Jimmy Carter was a half a step away from internment camps for Iranians, making those in the country on visa's et. al. report to INS.   Then of course banning Iranians from entry entirely.   Of course angry prog-libs revisionists have told us that's not the same thing, in some sort of whackadoo non-reality.

Like having an isolationist foreign policy while pissing off most of our trade partners? Great positive economic reason

Weird that people think that an administration that is open to individual trade agreements with countries is isolationist.   But nothing apparently stops the ongoing proglib meltdown.

Weird that people think closing the borders and building a $40b wall isn't isolationist.
Weird that people think creating a diplomacy issue over a $40b wall where there was no issue previously is "being open to individual trade agreements"

Even more strange the some people think that having an open border in a Post 9-11 world is a good thing.  Weirder still that some people actually want a border free-for-all where the worst people in the world profit and prey on the weak and the poor.   To add to the weirdness are the weirdos who like that people who entered the country the right way are being crap all over.  '

Super steroidal weird are people who think that actual border security is isolationist and that actual border security has any significant impact on a potential trade agreement.
