Remember that fat bald dude from MTV Matt Pinfield?  Just finished his book called All These Things That I've Done. It was pretty good. He's lived a pretty badass life. If you are into music, I recommend it. Pretty quick read too.

Started Earnhardt Nation. Don't know a thing about racing cars, but someone recommended it. The prologue was all about the day he died and was pretty  :Crybaby: Heard Dale was a huge badass though and I'm looking forward to the alive stories.

on a few different levels here

at bedtime to kid:
finished Harry Potter book 1
reading Harry Potter book 2 and Alice and Wonderland

me off/on:
The Assassination of Julius Caesar (picked this back up after starting and leaving a lot)
HP Lovecraft short stories
also occasionally reading Crumb's comic book version of the book of Genesis (very weird)

I like short stories in general and really like the fact that Lovecraft's have some common allusions/objects that populate a world. Once you get past the racism, pretty good sci fi. Kind of a Sherlock Holmes meets Phillip K Dick.

my BOY!  only thing I know of Sumner is that he got his ass beat on the floor of congress for being a bit of a smartass while arguing for abolition, but that's my favorite story I know.
