I honestly would prefer the SEC big 10 and ACC over the Pac in that order, but IDGAF where we end up or who is with us as long as we end up in a power conference.

They should. Modeling college football after the NFL doesn't make sense, at least as long as colleges expect alumni to care enough to donate $40 for stadium upgrades, libraries, etc. When was the last time you made a donation to the KC Chiefs?

There is no question that the long term effect of destroying the traditions and rivalries associated with college football will-over time-decrease the amount of giving to colleges.

KU/OU to the Big Ten all but guarantees us a spot in the PAC 12, assuming you buy into 4x16.

The second that would happen, UT, Tech, OSU, and KSU are on their way to the PAC within a week.

There would be a feeding frenzy on the Big 12 considering the ACC would be in GOR lockdown for two years. The ACC would take WVU, and ND would probably go full member. In two years, the SEC goes after a couple of ACC schools, and Cincy and ISU probably end up in the ACC. Baylor and TCU get screwed.

Iowa State is an AAU member, they'd be considered long before us given that all big 10 schools are (were, in case of Nub) are AAU institutions.

The ACC/ND dynamic is getting interesting. One year after ND joins, at least five coaches (including FSU, Clem, VT, and well respected Duke coach) have said on ESPN carwash ND should have to play a 13th game to be eligible for playoff. No way all are taking this hard stance against their new semi-conference member without first discussing amongst themselves and touching base with the conference office.
