last nights dream thread...

I VERY rarely remember any dreams, but when I do they are incredibly boring and normal.  The last one I can remember I was driving to work and I remembered that I forgot my wallet so I turned the car around and got my wallet and I was worried I was going to be late for work but I just barely made it.

i was playing a drum set to some song, then all of a sudden, i was a running back on a simple dive play, but each move was making drum sounds. like right step = bass kick, left step = snare, spin move = crash, bounce off tacklers = tom fill. and still the same song was playing. it was pretty amazing. i would never think of that while awake

Had a dream I woke up and my dog was still asleep and I went to pet him and he was cold and stiff and dead.  I bawled like a baby, actually like a deep and loud groan or howl to represent the deepest pain I've ever felt in my life.  Like something out of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.  Was so happy to actually wake up and realize my dog was still alive.

i had a dream that i wanted to sell this little acer micro laptop on craigslist and then i took a bite out of the whole thing and it was like a delicious chocolate bar but then i had a buyer at a great price but now i couldnt sell it because i had taken a huge bite of it.

also later i had a dream that i had a full head of long black hair that i really wanted to hang down real nice but no matter how much i brushed and combed it was big and curly then all of a sudden it was down and flowing like i wanted and i was in an auditorium watching some kind of presentation sitting with my friends but i got called up to sit in the front with russian mobsters and they complimented my hair

Sleep paralysis last night. It's such a weird state of being. I felt like I was being dragged off my bed and spun around. There was also weird eerie music, like exactly what you think of when you think of alien movie scenes, and I had to keep telling myself that aliens were not beaming me up to their ship, but that it was just sleep paralysis and I was fine.

It was also weird because it happened like, 15 seconds after I was moving around and totally alert. Laid down, noise got really loud and I thought, "yup, paralyzed". I do not care for sleep paralysis.

Same thing last night. I wish I could explain how real it felt to be flying around my room uncontrollably, mind you while being completely conscious.

I had a dream last night that I was a kid back in my old house in Iowa (It had a super creepy basement where I swore there were ghost down there) and my mom came to my room (which was all of a sudden in that rough ridin' basement) and she kept trying to lock the doors on me. I kept screaming "ghosts are here", but nothing came out. Then as she was walking away, my doors started rocking back in forth and some demon kept screaming in my ear. Finally, I screamed (and I could speak this time) "Mom! I rough ridin' told you! Ghosts are here, come back!"

After this, Ms. Wacky shook me/woke me up and said: "What did you tell your mom? All I heard you scream in your sleep was: "Mom, I rough ridin' told you!""

I had one last night that included me flying, orcs marching to war like in LOTR, BSFS, other people flying, tanks and Lamborghini's.  I'm trying to remember the details but I know those things were all in it

Last night I had a dream that my sister and I got kidnapped. So the kidnappers just had us hanging out in this big group of people not really confined or anything (which may have been influenced because I was watching Alpha Dog a couple days ago). We even had phones, so I suddenly thought that I could text someone to rescue me but then realized that the phone had no service.

So eventually we were in a somewhat open area and my sister & I ran away real fast and got to a house to call our mom.....and we told her we had been kidnapped and she said, "Were you really kidnapped or are you just saying that because you are out passed your curfew?"

I am pretty sure that is the correct usage. We had passed the time of our curfew. Like if you are looking at the time on a timeline, we were moving along the timeline and there was a point (the curfew) which we went by (i.e. passed).

I heard a comic on a podcast recently that this really did happen to. He graduated, walked, received the paper and 8 months later they called him and said they messed up and he still needed public speaking credits.

i was leaving a bar, in the parking lot
earlier in the night i was informed that ron prince was at the same bar.  i never saw anyone who i thought was ron prince
his buds are standing right next to me and he came running out of the  bar
one of his buddies tripped him as he ran up to us all
ron thought it was me that tripped him and jumped on top of me, he was ready to brawl
he looked much younger and smaller than i thought he would, i realized then why i didn't see him in the bar
i told him that i was also a KAT, just like him and he was like really?
then i began complimenting him on his original staff
we then became friends.  as i was listing his staff members, he was like ya that guy was great
he really liked it when i gave him james franklin props
he kind of was mad about raheem
i didn't mention matt because i've never been able to say his name, and now he's a drug addict anyway so doesn't matter
we left as bros, he had his arm around me and we were walking and i hopped he wouldn't find out i was a mod here b/c the ron prince thread would have sent him into orbit.

Two nights ago:
Guns n Roses reunited and announced a stadium tour Rob (CEO of Sporting KC) started tweeting that there was big news coming. Then they announced a GNR concert at Sporting KC stadium. Weird sized stadium for a stadium tour. I tweeted Rob IRL when I woke up but no response.

Last night:
I drove from KC to Manhattan for a Kstate football game. Trim was the driver (or who I think is Trim since I've never met him IRL). He drives a Ford F150 in my dreams apparently. Stopped at Walmart in Topeka and I bought a Kstateo pair of swim trunks for my upcoming vacation. Trim said they were cool, to my surprise. Dream ended before we made it to the game.
