was a playing real life modern warfare 2 for a while, the map was overgrown. i was using akimbo pistols mostly. then i drove to Czechoslovakia with my mom and brother on an underwater bridge so that we could go camping.
Have these dreams quite a bit. Last one I was just running around setting up claymores all over the place. Usually I'm watching gameplay in the dreams but this particular time was the first of actual being in the game. Weird.

We were at the Masters, but it wasn't really the Masters, it was more like a golf tournament with mini-golf type obstacles at a western-themed amusement park-type thing somewhere outside of Flagstaff, AZ. It was my first "major", and steve dave was "showing me the ropes", much like he does with hotel points. For example, I was like, "Sh*t, I forgot to write down my score last hole - will I have to turn in my scorecard?" and steve dave was like, "nah, it's OK. I've been here before".
We were in a foursome that included Tiger Woods, and he was cheating on one hole, because instead of driving the ball down the regular obstacle path, he found a secret water tube in the giant fake tree next to the tee box that he could just drop his ball in and have it go out the bottom, right by the hole. At the time, I thought this was cheating, so I was pissed off at Tiger. (in retrospect, it just seems like an ingenious method of covering all your possible options in full-size miniature golf). Still, I was pissed, so the next tee, I yelled "f*ck tiger" during his back swing. steve dave joined in. I was also worried about the tournament organizers catching wind of this and not letting me back next year, but steve dave and I agreed they would just think it was the gallery that was pissed about his infidelity.
After the tournament, steve dave showed me where he and Mrs. Dave were going for dinner (it was a western themed train or something). The screen in my brain shifted to an old-timey western map that showed our current location (the Masters amusement park), and the new location. Then, dashes appeared one-by-one to create a curvy path to the western-themed train restaurant as steve dave described the route. I told steve dave I'd meet him there, but really didn't intend to, because it would be a nightmare with the whole family and I wanted to practice a little for the next round.

Then I high fived my kindergarten teacher and ate hot pop tarts while getting high with my mom on the beach at my great uncle's house in Canada. I picked a peach off the tree and it was all rotten and a bunch of maggots started racing out and then cockroaches and then I was trapped in the attic of their cottage and spiders and centipedes and super sized cockroaches and stuff where like marching in around the roof. I was in the corner on the same side as the door that they were coming in from, they were going clockwise and headed towards me.
Then in my dream I grinded my teeth and it felt like they were going to break (was told at the dentist this week I may grind my teeth and to watch out for this).
I usually don't remember my dreams, but I had to wake up at an odd time this morning, so I got to tune in and remember.

I have a dream on occasion that I can jump really high. Sometimes I jump and I realize I jumped so high that it is probably going to mess me up pretty bad when I come back to the ground and land. It's kind of like the falling dream but I usually realize I'm dreaming. I hit the ground and it doesn't hurt at all.
Hey! I have this one, too. Sometimes, I'll be dreaming about playing basketball and I'll suddenly discover that if I just change my form a little bit, I can dunk all over those motherfuckers.
On the downside, I also have a lot of dreams of nothing but voices in the room whispering about me. These always creep me the eff out. Had them since I was a kid.

had a dream that i was going to a wedding and so I shaved that morning and then afterwards at the wedding reception my friend pulls me aside and hands me a razor and some shaving cream. i'm really confused by this so i walk in the men's bathroom and look in the mirror. lo and behold, i have a full beard. so now i'm really freaking out and starting to wonder how long i've been at this wedding reception (days? months?). so i start shaving in the bathroom and as soon as i get done with one part of my face, the beard has grown back in already. so i keep shaving and shaving and eventually get this fear that i'm going to miss the dollar dance so i run out of the bathroom door and that's when i woke up.

Anyway, the next day was inauguration, long story short he gets assassinated. Don't really remember what happened next. I had a totally mumped up dream the other night and very disconnected. It started out I was playing glof with a friend of mine but in stead of golf balls we were using basketballs. And there were like strippers and hookers all over the course. We got the the 9th hole and one of the strippers who was naked when I walked up pulled my pants down and bent over. We started to eff. Then another one came over to me and said that that girl didn't know what she was doing and so I started doing her, I blew my wad and then woke up scared to death my wife would find out.

I grab a skillet and spray a little pam on it and sprinkle it with pepper. At this point I don't know what to do. I don't have any eggs. I knew this was stupid but I did it anyway. I grabbed my laptop and tried shaking eggs out if it into the pan. Nothing... disappointed. I ended up having a container of egg beaters in the fridge and some spinach so I whipped up some EB and spinach. I also ate half of a banana. I woke up thinking I'd dreamed this crap but the skillet with the EB is there on the stove and half eaten banana is on the counter.
So basically I think I walked in my sleep and almost cooked my laptop.

I'm taking some supplements that are supposed to help you sleep more soundly and make dreams more vivid. I went out and had a few drinks after the gym last night and didn't eat much of anything. I took the supplements and passed out around 1am.

Zombies were starting to take over Kansas City, and the Chiefs had a game that night. On the radio, they said that the National Guard would be out to protect citizens wanting to go to the game, and they'd hold them back from the stadium by surrounding it with a series of tarps.
Folks were calling in to the radio saying how dangerous it was and wondered why they were playing the game. The DJamer said very nonchalantly, "Well, the games are very hard to reschedule."
There were a lot of other standard zombie things happening, but that was a highlight that stuck with me.

I was a kid, and I was walking around the neighborhood until I got picked up in a tractor beam a la "Fire in the Sky". The tractor beam pulls me up in to an Imperial Star Destroyer, like the one ship was in Star Wars. As soon as I get inside, it's a sporting goods store. I wander around, and I see Storm Troopers walking around and tending to the stuff all over the store. One guy is messing with golf clubs. The other guy is messing with the baseball stuff. I then have to go take a leak, and when I get into the stall (I was a kid at the time...), I hear Darth Vader breathing. I'm scared shitless, so I hide stand on top of the toilet so he can't find me. As soon as he took his dump, he left, and I woke up.
Today, this is the strangest goddamn dream I've ever had. It may not seem so strange, but until you see a rough ridin' Storm Trooper arranging irons while muzak plays in the background, you haven't seen crap.

was in some kind of weird jungle prison/concentration camp (no idea how i got there, INCEPTION!) the guards would let you try and escape and me and a bro were running around while a dude in a helicopter kept cutting us off. He got caught but I eventually got away and hid in the big pit in the middle of a huge field that was all dirt. people there helped me until I got home. As I was sorting things out with my parents we realized that LHC Bill Snyder was behind all of this.
Drove to MHK and met up with Austin meek to tell him about what happened and expose LHC Bill Snyder. In MHK we were at a HS football game where one of the teams was being coached by Temple legend John Chaney.
At some point during the game I ended up hanging out with the cast of celebrity rehab.

Had another crazy dream after playing to much Call of Duty. I'm in a large concert hall for a speech and I get a bad feeling and decide to leave. As Im trying to leave the security guards block me in and say I cant leave, then I realize the place is wired with explosives. I disarm the secrurity man and escape.You are really slow.
When I get outside I realize I'm in the Bakara level of COD and am being chased by people with guns. MIne last night. Two apache attack helicopters collided mid air and crashed. I ran to the crash site only to find that there was a birthday party going on for three little girls who were daughters of the helicopter pilots.

I had a dream a few nights ago that I was a candidate for president and was seeking the GOP nomination this year. Well after losing the first few primaries, I had decided it was time to drop my candidacy and endorse one of my opponents. So during my big endorsement speech I totally forgot the name of the guy I was going to endorse, and I looked like a complete dumbass. I woke up when everyone started laughing at me. :frown:

i had a dream i was fishing on a dock. it was black and white and the sky was blank water color paper. i hooked something heavy and started reeling it in. as it got closer it started glowing so bright i couldnt see it, but i pushed on. after awhile i finally landed it. it was an all bald, all nude man covered in tats. after i unhooked him he sprang to life. we both stood up. face to face. he started walking into a brightly lit wall.

I have seen this man in 3 completely different dreams. He was slightly different from the picture, but I recognized him immedialely. He appeared suddenly and disappeared in the same manner. His message in all 3 of my dreams was:" It's all over". That was repeated 3 times in each dreams. The differences in the picture and the man in my dreams are: his hair was a little longer in the top; his eyebrows were not as bushy. Other than that, he is identical. I had no fear of him, but many questions...

fwiw if you are remembering much of anything about your dreams you have a potentially serious mental problem. your brain should be able to erase this stuff if you are getting restful sleep. it's programmed to do so. there is something wrong in your head if you are retaining much of what you dream.

I usually don't remember mine but I got a solid 12 hours of sleep last night after averaging about 4-5 hours a night for the previous 3 days, so I think that's probably what did it. I only really remember them vividly when my sleep pattern gets interrupted.

well, that makes sense. if your mind is exhausted it will begin making all kinds of processing errors. you probably don't need to worry about it unless it becomes a consistent thing.

Had a dream I was at some 311 fan appreciation concert. They played for like 10 minutes in front of 20 of us or so. Then each fan had to go up on stage and talk about how much we like 311 and how we started listening to them.

In the dream, I flashed back to Steve Dave saying that someone else was posting from the same IP that I was and I was surprised to find out that it had been fanning all along! :cheers: I went into his office while he was unpacking his boxes (he had just moved offices to one down the hall from me) and I walked in and said, "Hey Fanning, I'm dobber!" We shook hands and had a great laugh. I think we were on our way to becoming good friends, but I was a little uneasy that it was going to cause problems between my wife and me (due to Fanning's filly slaying).:sdeek: I HAD THE SAME DREAM TOO!!!

Yes. The dream always takes place at my parents house.
Not as often but yes tornados plague my dreams as well. Sometimes they shrink down an enter the building I am seeking refuge in. Logic would say this little rough rider tornado is too small to hurt me. But these little bastards seem to have an even stronger vortex than their larger counterparts. They seem to always suck my eyes out. :eek:

CK7 and I were miami vice like detectives in some random city(i want to say bogata but it could of been miami). We bust up some big drug runners and engage in a 20 minute gun fight. After taking out like 20 of the bad guys I get shot and CK7 covers me while I get away but ends up being captured.
They beat him up trying to get information from him and break his legs......This is where it gets real weird.
CK7 is all F'd up so they take him to the gorilla enclosure and the local zoo and throw him in there on the stretcher. He cant walk due to the broken legs and is strapped into the stretcher. The gorilla's take care of him and I visit the zoo every day to check up on my partner. One day I'm at the zoo, about 4 months after original shootout, and the gorilla's carry him out to the front on the stretcher. He undoes the straps holding him in the stretcher and stands up and starts to walk. The best way I can describe his walk is to picture D from always sunny when she has her aluminum monster gear on.
Then i wake up.

since i didn't know the offense, i was asking TLBL to tell me what routes to run while we were in the huddle but he didn't really want to help me out and was getting frustrated with me. klein was too busy running the offense and focused on the big picture so he couldn't help me either. it was very stressful and woke me out of my sleep at around 4:45.
the good news is we got sbarro pizza for our pregame meal. bad part is the pizza buffet was outside in the rain (it was covered though).

Anyone else get the dream where you forgot about a class for pretty much the whole semester and then you scramble right at the end to try and pass but it's too late? Yeah, those come on strong this time of year.
I used to get those alot, I would always panic and then have to remind myself I had already graduated.

fwiw if you are remembering much of anything about your dreams you have a potentially serious mental problem. your brain should be able to erase this stuff if you are getting restful sleep. it's programmed to do so. there is something wrong in your head if you are retaining much of what you dream.Sounds like what I would say if I didn't remember my dreams like a toal stud.

My favorite dreams are the ones on Saturday morning when I forget to turn the alarm off. I go right back to sleep and get back into the dream knowing it's a dream, and then I can control pretty much everything that happens and I really accomplish some badass crap in those dreams.
I've never been able to do this. The closest I got was one time in a dream I thought maybe it was a dream so I thought about it and came to the conclusion that it was real life. Then I woke up and got super pissed at my Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) sleep brain.

Had a pretty great dream last night. Went to Disney World for michigancat's sister's wedding (I know michigancat's future bro-in-law). So I was hanging out there with my wife and waiting for michigancat to show up so we could kick it. Well, low and behold Rick Daris and his wife were there too. Not for the wedding, just because they were taking their kids to Disney World. So we get to the resort thinking about how great of a pak wedding this is going to be and Kat Kid and Mrs. Kat Kid are there. Not sure why, they left Kat Kid Kid back in Manhattan, and he's not old enough to enjoy it anyway. So I turn to Kat Kid and say, "Well this is mother f**king chicagoPAK all over again!" and we both just die laughing. Then I woke up.
Not that crazy of a dream, but it was pretty cool that it had a bunch of goEMAW guys in it. Except then I saw Mrs. Kat Kid IRL today so I thought I absolutely had to post this crazy occurrence.

Only dream worse is the dream in which KSU finds out you shouldn't have graduated. "Someone" finds evidence of that in a trash can at Dillon's and gives it to Currie. KSU is forced to revoke your degree for the good of the school. Your employer finds out you don't have the degree you claimed to have and fires you. Your application for readmission to KSU is rejected. Your only option is KU. What do you do?

I take alcohol pretty frequently and don't remember much usually, however last night I was a sober Sally after three days of binging and had some fairly vivid dreams. WW3 started (vs. Russia) and I was drafted in the same platoon or whatever as many of my IRL friends (including several gEers) and most of the cast of Breaking Bad. Had lots of fun playing a pickup game of baseball with the platoon(?) and I hit some home runs. Then we dominated the Russian's in some mountain range and had a blast shooting some sweet assault weapons. Jesse was a war hero and killers a shitload of Ruskies.
There was also a scene where G. W. Bush pulled Clinton out of a lake in the mountain area we were fighting in. That was weird and I'm not sure how it was related.

Last night was a weird one again! IRL I just finished my basement about a week ago. In my dream last night the basement was flooded by a leaky window unit AC, the tiles were coming up and the walls were getting all warped and moldy. I called over one of my engineer friends to see if they could fix it but after looking at it he said "I'm just a civil engineer, i dont know how to fix this"
The next dream was even weirder! I was making a drug deal at a shitty bar in olathe called Tattoo. My buddy had told me to go talk to the bartender and he will hook me up. The barkeep tells me to go meet a guy across the street at the gas station who just happens to be a shady guy I went to high school with. I get in his car and he drives around for a bit but the cops start followign us! He tries to ditch them but wrecks his car and I escape on foot.

Had a dream my work team was meeting some industry experts at Iowa State University. Whoever scheduled the meetings messed up because we had back to back meetings one separate sides of the campus. So like I'm hustling from meeting A to meeting B, see a good friend from HS (who is a ginger) and high five, then I see this dude with a tricked out BB gun and he's like threatening people. Campus security shows up and shoots the guy but the bullets just bounce off him. The guy beats the crap out of the security guard and people are screaming and running. I get a ways away and try to take cover behind some hedges or flowers or something but then I can't move and he's shooting at me and then I wake up. :horrorsurprise:

So I arrive at my friends place and apparently he has started growing lettuce or something cause there are a shitload of migrant workers roaming around. He even set up a concession stand and several rows of picnic tables. So I go to the stand to get some popcorn and see a half eaten funeral cake sitting on a table. For some reason I know it was from my friends oldest brother's funeral (he's not dead in real life).
Then I make my way inside my friends house and go down stairs. There's a semi truck being worked on down there and I'm cool with it. I offer some advice and my friend thanks me. I get in my truck and my kids are in there. On the way home I stop at this house that I drive by everyday. Go inside and there's this guy Johnny Wichita told us about during a turntable sesh. He is pounding shots like one has a burning piece of wood in it. :sdeek: I start heading back to my car and there's Mrs. Bf totally wasted and having a great time. I'm like "oh wells" and go home with my kids. I just left Mrs Bf there.

It was farmer parody video day at BSFS. The farming and I know it guys and ranching style guys were the stars, but there were like 13 farmers who did them. when they played their video on the jumbotron, the camera would cut tool them for part of the video and they would do their signature dance move on the sideline halfheartedly and awkwardly laugh. (think psy at dodger stadium but a tad more awkward). they were all wearing cowboy hats, boots, jeans, and blazers. Before the game was a Harley day esque parade that was like a hayride but just trailers pulled by trucks.
Really, my dream log is great.

I was out in western ks visiting soeme relatives then on my way back to KC I decided to pull off on the side of I-70 to do some fishing. I'm driving my parents old mini-van and messing around in the backseat with my fishing gear when I see like FIVE COP CARS pull up behind me and start shining their light throught he back windsheild. I reach into my pocket for my wallet to get my ID out but they think I am reaching for a gun.
They tell me to freeze and not move as they come up along the side of the mini-van, door is open and I'm freaking out thinking they are going to shoot me since my hand is still in my pocket and they think i am grabbing a gun or something. I explain that I'm grabbing my wallet and that I can take my hand out of my pocket whenever. They tell me to exit the car and slam me to the ground cuff me and find like $50 in random bills in my pocket and start accusing me of being a drug dealer.
They start searching my car(without my permission) and my GF(who was in the front seat) is all like WTF are you guys doing? So they slam her down and cuff her too.
Long story short they dont find anything in my car but are real dicks.

I had a dream that I pooped in the dishwasher and was really ashamed about it.
Man. These are just the worst. I dreamed that I bought some weed for my friends and then remembered that the poly asks about "involvement with illegal drugs" and not just "use of illegal drugs." I woke up super freaked out and plotting strategies in my mind to make it not sound so bad.

i had a dream that someone added on to my house and then i had to leave and when i came back there were about 20 brand new refrigerators in the added on area. they had been given/donated to me by someone that i didn't know and it was part of some larger elaborate scheme they were doing for/on me.
were they full of BL limes and was their elaborate scheme to kill you? seems kinda inefficient but more sporting IMO

Last night I had a dream that felt so real I woke up to feel the back of my head to make sure. It all started by me moving into my new place. I had to start traveling a lot to Florida for my new job, so my mom and aunt would watch the place from time to time. Well, one night I got home late, and I woke up to my Aunt saying: "OMG, I knew it!" She was looking at the back of my neck and noticed screw entrees like that of a laptop or a computer. Apparently, aliens were screwing in there prods into the back of my neck every night to send information over to their colony in Florida. I then heard a scheering scream which made me wake up IRL screaming from the top of my lungs. eff those guys, you know?

Then I had a dream that I was part of the Sopranos family and we killed one of the main characters by having the floor open up underneath him so he'd fall into a barrel of acid. Then we found out that we didn't need to kill him. Heartache City.
My other dream was that I was a dragon. I was about to kill a girl and then she told me she was a really good singer and was going to be on American Idol soon so I didn't.

I tried to go to the hospital :driving: but everytime I looked at the wound :eek: I would pass out :blindfold: , this happened like 3 times.

Had a really disgusting :Yuck: dream last night where one of those flies from Africa that bore into your skin to lay eggs totally did that to me :horrorsurprise:.

Some other people just like appear and start sitting around us and start having their own discussions and stuff. It gets really loud from everyone talking so we leave and I get in a car with Megan. We just start driving around on the highway and she is telling me about the film industry. How directors try and keep actors/actresses from becoming directors and producers and stuff. She said that they gave her a choice, she could either keep acting or just quit and go do other things.
We keep driving around and then she pulls into this little strip mall thing and she says this is where she used to work when she was younger, it was this little shoe store, like payless. The place was pretty big and there was a golf cart in there that we started riding around matching shoes together. Everytime we found a pair of shoes that were the same we would take a shot of some liquor, dont remember what it was. She was wearing this greenish blue sundress and looking flat out amazing. We talked while riding around and she asked me if I was pissed that she had a kid and got married, I was like "eff YEAH I AM". Then I woke up.

Our very own elite poster himself, Winters offed my mom in my dream. With just a Hammer! And then he even tried to hide the evidence in my own house.
Fortunately from there I woke up at 3:30 A.M. Not knowing wtf to think. Then cozily enjoyed the rest of my sleep after realizing it was a terrifying dream.

But this morning the last segment of the dream before I woke up was very vivid.
I was inside the Vanier Complex, and it was much bigger in my dream, with many levels. The furnishings were like they were the first time I went in there many years ago, not like they are today. Anywho, we went into the the weightroom, and then walked down a level where they had what seemed like a video arcade. The down another flight of stares to the huge room that like a hospitality area and a huge old-timey bar. The thing that really stuck out was there was this huge walk out patio, and when you walked out there was this beautiful, albeit narrow river or canal (similar to what you'd find in some European Cities). There were all kinds of boats, many of which were dropping people off, and then a tree lined bank that had perfectly manicured and mowed grass and gardens along it. Right before I woke up I was looking down the river and between the trees and what would have been Manhattan also had a very European feel with huge old cathedrals and both modern and very old buildings on the skyline.
Possible reasons for dream: K-State fan (duh), gEmaw lazy river discussion, viewing of several shows recently filmed in Europe, watched a video outtake from Rush's forthcoming DVD Release which a song called The Garden. All or none of the above

I knew I needed to wake up, so I tried to get out of the dream and woke up in Sioux City, Iowa at a middle school slumber party where all my middle school friends were there. That was the last layer before I woke up. I mean WTF?! :runaway:

Last dream I ended up on K-State's campus (this is no bull crap). I've already had my Masters, but I go back there cause K-State is telling me I forgot to take a class and my bachelors actually doesn't count after all these years. The professor said, I needed to come back for another year. I was like "NOOOOOOOO!" and then..... I woke up. Very confused on whether I needed to go to school or if I had a job. Luckily I made it to work today.

Ok so I'm from Wichita, and in my dream 21st St. turned into a canal that was probably 15 feet deep. Everyone was driving their cars like normal on top of the water. I looked out of window into the canal and I could see tons of Lemon sharks. I remember vividly knowing they were lemon sharks too because #sharkweek. Anyways, how weird is that? I think it's really weird when you accept something in your dreams as facts, like one you've always known (like the lemon sharks) even thought it's really random and not a fact at all.

I was in trouble with some gang person and they were torturing me and the other people in my group. It went in stages for how bad it was, but it was all self-inflicted. Like they forced me to do it or they would kill me.
Anyway I don't remember the early ones but the last one before I woke up... I had to cut basically a giant rubber band looking strip of skin off my body, then hang it around my shoulder like you would a bow or a duffle bag.
I finally woke up and my heart about beat out of my chest.

A lot of times (not for me, but when this happens) your dreams keep playing. It's like a transparency over the reality that you're seeing, so you're seeing both in the same image. The sounds are still going too. I've had the sounds keep playing and that's extra terrifying, especially since it was before I learned this was a thing so I naturally assumed the sounds were real.

This happened to me several times as a teenager and it really freaked me out, especially since there were people in the room at least one time and I couldn't speak to them. Hasn't happened in a really long time now though.

couple nights ago i had a dream i was fake sleeping in a bed, watching someone in the room. They grabbed a pillow to put over my face...i knew it was a dream so i tried to wake up...but my body wouldn't let me. He was the chef/bartender. I was the hostess/waitress/business manager.I could get on board with this. Including the snake part too.
All my family was there (helping us get set up, maybe) and then a really long orange and brown snake flew at my cousin and grabbed onto his bottom eyelids.
It was a pretty good deal until the snake showed up.

I've been taking these sleep meds that give me crazy dreams for the last two months to put me to sleep. During these dreams, I move around a lot. Two weeks ago, some guy in my dream was coming after one of my family members and I reached out with my left hand to slap him. it was almost like the dream reset and i was with the same people again in this place and again, angelina jolie was with us. we were in this house and she started talking about how we were going to survive and stuff. then while she was talking she pulled out a bottle of lotion and started putting it on her legs and arms, all while still talking about how we were going to survive. we heard something outside and so angelina and a few went outside and got like 15 feet outside the door and again were frozen in place. i started yelling at people that we had to get away and stuff and they all looked really confused. then that blob orb thing hit angelina and the others and they exploded.
the zombie things then started coming into the house and i jumped out a back window and then everything got all dark and there was a message that said "out of bounds, game over". then i woke up. :confused:

Dream: My barber did the usual haircut, no problem. He always uses a straight razor to trim the back of my neck. Did that, no proble . Then... he trimmed my mustache without asking. This may not be as big of a deal to most, but I have a handlebar that I've been growing for over a year, and I woke up panicking beyond belief.
All good though, the 'stache is in tact. :gocho:

But when we left they said they had to search me, so of course they found all the money and assumed it was gambling winnings (my dream didn't take into account that you don't actually get twenty dollar bills from slot machines) and I couldn't really tell them that it all came out of the ATM and they counted it, it was $466,000. So I was mad that I was going to have to pay taxes on it, but then they were just going to give me some tickets that were each worth $25,000 and I had to come redeem them at the casino. And they wouldn't even give me any cash so I was leaving with less than I came with. I was really pissed.

There was a school bus full of kids and some of them jumped off but then ran to get back on. One of the kids didn't make it and the bus drove away, so I reluctantly picked the kid up and took him home to try to figure out where he needed to go...
But the kid had been taught not to talk to strangers (getting in the car with them, apparently, was not a problem) so he wouldn't tell me his name, phone number, or address. Finally I got his last name out of him (Dempsey) and called a school. I didn't even know if it was the school he went to....And I was on the phone with them trying to explain the situation when the dream ended.

maybe you got left out of something when you were little, and that was a self projection of how you felt when you weren't included.

when your parents or a family member wanted to know why you were upset you held everything inside, and only after a little coercion, you let a little bit of what happened out, although it was the end. your parents then tried calling someone else for advice to get the rest out of you
im probably way off, but lots of times an 'out of body' perception of past events is the root cause of some dreams like that. idk

I could feel the weight of the person's body on me and I could not move. I was struggling to open my eyes or move but I couldn't.
Then the weight moved up to my chest. It was getting really hard to breath with the weight on my chest. I struggled to try to wake myself up, but I couldn't open my eyes. I knew it was a dream, but I wondered if you could die because you stopped breathing in your dream. So then I decided that I had to fight to wake up, so I tried with all my effort and finally I opened my eyes. No one was on top of me, of course, but I was very freaked out.

I had a pretty terrifying experience earlier today. I was taking a nap and was about to wake up from it, in that half awake/half asleep stage....where you can't move....probably just sleep apnea

Had the exact same thing happen to me my freshman year of college, except I was sleeping on my stomach so it felt like someone was straddling my back. Didn't have as difficult of time breathing as you did, but some.
This is not the first time I have had the experience of seeing the room and not being able to move. But it is the first time someone sat on me during that experience.

i had a dream that i wanted to sell this little acer micro laptop on craigslist and then i took a bite out of the whole thing and it was like a delicious chocolate bar but then i had a buyer at a great price but now i couldnt sell it because i had taken a huge bite of it.The second one is outstanding and the first one is pretty great, too.
also later i had a dream that i had a full head of long black hair that i really wanted to hang down real nice but no matter how much i brushed and combed it was big and curly then all of a sudden it was down and flowing like i wanted and i was in an auditorium watching some kind of presentation sitting with my friends but i got called up to sit in the front with russian mobsters and they complimented my hair

There was also weird eerie music, like exactly what you think of when you think of alien movie scenes, and I had to keep telling myself that aliens were not beaming me up to their ship, but that it was just sleep paralysis and I was fine.
It was also weird because it happened like, 15 seconds after I was moving around and totally alert. Laid down, noise got really loud and I thought, "yup, paralyzed". I do not care for sleep paralysis.

I was sitting in an airport somewhere in the Far East with a colleague on a work trip. We had a long layover so I suggested we fly to Seoul so I could get a haircut. Miles, first class, boom we are in Seoul. Walking around I noticed all the shops were closing at about 4PM. Disappointed I saw an American and asked him what was up, he says we are really in Nampa (which must be some adjoining community that supports an American military installation there). But I was rough ridin' determined to get my Korean haircut, so I asked him about a really fast cab, he says it's better to ride share (apprently my colleague was gone). So I somehow beamed out this rideshare desire from my brain, and out from the crowd pops this dude who looks like an exact mix between The Most Interesting Man in the World and Tim Curry. We jump into this black Lambo and tell the driver to punch it an he's driving like a maniac doing things I'm now sure are not even physically possible. At some point we have to get out, there is a traffic jam or something, and walk on, then decide to double back and get the car again. Only it's missing. The driver suspects us of setting him up, and he begins to beat the crap out of us, demanding to know where his car is. I plead with him, tell him I only wanted a Korean haircut, and after a while he believes me and let's us go. Can't remember anything afer that, other than I'm sure I didn't get a haircut. :frown:This is really awesome. I mean, how does the mind rough ridin' work?

I VERY rarely remember any dreams, but when I do they are incredibly boring and normal. The last one I can remember I was driving to work and I remembered that I forgot my wallet so I turned the car around and got my wallet and I was worried I was going to be late for work but I just barely made it.
Yeah, that's the most boring dream I've ever heard. Even worse than my dreams about spreadsheets.

I am pretty sure that is the correct usage. We had passed the time of our curfew. Like if you are looking at the time on a timeline, we were moving along the timeline and there was a point (the curfew) which we went by (i.e. passed).

his buds are standing right next to me and he came running out of the bar
one of his buddies tripped him as he ran up to us all

I was in a pool (a very small but deep pool). There was a person strapped on a board thing in the water. I was supposed to pull them under and they try to hold their breath as long as they can and then I bring them up.
It was like a para-Olympic swimming event. Except that the para-athlete was completely paralyzed so the only thing they could do to compete was hold their breath. (I have no idea how they were supposed to indicate they were ready to come up since they were completely paralyzed.)
But the pool was like 30 feet deep, so I have to tread water while holding this person. So after a while I start getting tired, and I sink down and can't get enough power to get them back up. So I sink all the way to the bottom, finally I push off and barely get back to the surface and some other people pull the person out. Then they start bitching at me for almost killing the para-athlete. And I just walk off because I am completely traumatized by the experience.

it has been a solid four years or so since i can really remember dreaming while sleeping. over the last month or so, i've started to dream more frequently. last night's were intense, although i don't recall any of it. i imagine this is correlated to my significant decrease in substance consumption.I am older, but I have trouble remembering my dreams, even though I know I have them often. Mine can't be related to substance consumption, but I wish I could figure it out. Like you said, some are intense and I'd like to remember details.

i'm not terribly concerned with remembering them. i just know that there was a long stretch of time that i had no recollection whatsoever of dreams of any sort. it's a weird sensation for me at this time. i don't particularly care for when they are intense enough to wake me up.

First one happened while I was traveling for work. In the dream, I came home to find my wife hooked on crack and her teeth were all jacked up.
Other one was at home. In the dream, I was traveling. Hanging in the hotel lobby with Tiger Woods. My wife called pissed that I was in the bar with Tiger and I wouldn't leave. She showed up crying with black eyes. She was blaming me but Tiger was my alibi. I left the bar to find a police station so they could photograph my hands but I never could find the police station.

I also remember seeing Vince McMahon dressed like a doctor and he was talking about injecting Trump with something and it would either help him MAGA and if it didn't we could be like, "well, he's taking PEDs and dump him." Vince had some blood on his collar and face so he wasn't very good at being a doctor.
It's all a little fuzzy. This was a very small aspect of my dream, but definitely what stuck out the most. I listened to the entire Joe Rogan/Alex Jones podcast yesterday and watched the XFL ESPN 30 for 30 so I think that explains part of it.

Weird thing is I have no idea where such a shitty dream came from. I'm not overly stressed or anything. It was very similar to a Stephen King short story I read years ago so maybe that's where it came from.

Just finished writing down what I remember from a very epic dream. Included IRL friends and internet friends and college football and riots and saving people from the riots on horseback to a lesson learned from rugby to absolute enjoyment and wanting to go out to eat then to realizing it was a dream and wanting to tell the others then me being alone trying to leave and being chased and I fly away.That's pretty wild.

A few weeks ago, I had a dream that they were getting ready to do an operation on a person on the oak dining room table in my grandpa's farmhouse. My grandpa and uncles were all gowned up like the doctors from MASH and they were carrying the patient in. I think he had been injured in a wreck on the highway or something. They were going to use the dining room light for OR lighting. I woke up before any incisions were made. One of the weirdest, most vivid dreams I've had in a long time.

Scene: my friend’s wedding.
I’m in my tux. I have to go back to my hotel room to get something for the wedding. On my way back from the hotel a kid stabs me. I grab the kid and throw him down four flights of stairs. He dies. I show up to the wedding and I’m worried I’ll be charged with murder.
Last night I had a dream that I was building a house and it had a massive deck with a pool, multiple hot tubs, seating and cubbies built into the deck. I also went to the grocery store and some guy confronted me because I guess I had confronted him at the store before. I was also confronted by a store worked but I cannot remember what for.

Had a dream last night that I was painting a room in my house and my dog came in the room and accidentally kicked the roller and splattered paint all over the walls (there was white paint on the roller even though I was painting the room green). Woke up feeling very mad at my dog and then realized it was just a dream and felt guilty about being mad at the dog.
You better check the room and see if there is paint splattered on the walls. :ohno:
