at this point I'm convinced that tim is a combo-sock dreamed up by spracne and beems to make them look better by comparison

working out for spracne so far, but I think this strategy has just made beems lazier and worse :frown:

So is Weis going to burn the red shirt of that Cozart loser who was begging K-State for an offer?

Who?

I guess he was a QB at Miege and was sweating the Cats for an offer but we mushed him and he went to ku.  I guess Weis put him on the depth chart because he is admitting his second 5* transfer in as many years has flamed out.

The moral of this really seems to be, if you are a highly rated transfer, don't go to Kansas University to play for Charlie Weis

Burning QB redshirts without injuries is a desperate move by someone who has been told he must win now.

I feel bad for the ku football team...look how much the university is pushing their faces in crap, while slobbing the knob of the basketball program.  Now they're having an open BB practice on the day of the OU game?  They really should just close down that albatross of a football program.

That's too deep into b ball season to have more than a few thousand on hand in attendance. A shame that so few will witness something so great.

If Montell Cozart gives KU the best chance to win, why shouldn't he play?  We're not even halfway through the season yet.

I would rather save a good qb prospect for full seasons behind real offensive lines. I just don't think he'd add much value to KU until they fix some other positions.

If he is the future and Chuck isn't under some threat, then the best thing is to let the kid learn and practice as much as he can the rest of the year, get stronger and bigger, then come out and own crap for 4 yrs.

If he gives you the best chance to win now, Chuck is a super shitty coach for not knowing this 6 wks ago.

Could you imagine to be a fan of a certain school and you pounded your chest for having a coaching staff w/ rings (assistants tho), transfer players that were 5*'s (that continue to bust), and now you wanna pull a red shirt off your shitty 3* QB cause you haven't won a conference game in a century?! Ya, me neither.

How is it any more over for KU than it is for K-State?

Also a pretty shrewd move by Chuck to hand off some of the play calling duties to multiple Heisman Trophy winner Ron Powlus.  If it works (can't be any worse) he can take credit for any improvement, and if it doesn't work he can pass the blame on to someone else.

Nobody said it was, though K-State still has a somewhat realistic route to a bowl game.  The more important part is that K-State isn't pulling redshirts.
