a corgi is like a hot wheels car with micro machine wheels

As puppies, very cute.  But, I find their disproportional legs to be off-putting.  However, I do like ugly dogs like Pugs, so I guess I can't talk.

I think they are pretty adorable as adults as well. they run really fast for having such pud legs. they will also herd kids if you get a few of them (kids) together.

a couple years ago during wimbledon someone on twitter suggested they replace the kids running after the balls with corgis. I think that is just about the most rough ridin' adorable idea I've ever heard.

I dought a viszla could get to be much over 50 lbs.  Would have to be fat to do that, IMO.  But the lab could take it over 50lbs for sure.  I've been around quite a few and they make great pets.  I don't prefer them from a hunting standpoint but they are nice dogs for sure.  Would be a shame though (IMO) to own a hunting dog and not take it hunting.

This website says you don't know crap.

I've never seen a vizsla over 50 lbs and have been around a dozen or so.  Most were 40 to 50 pounds with a few under 40.  Some were litter mates, most weren't.  Granted all were in good shape as hunting dogs.  Americans generally let their dogs get pretty fat so I don't doubt the link.  I jsut don't think a healthy vizsla should ever get to be more than 50lbs.  That's two ribs showing.  YMMV.

I think I'm going to go with the experts at puppydogweb.com and not your eyeball judgments.  Everybody get a load of this guy, rough ridin' digital scale eyes accurate to a tenth of a pound!  Hey emo, the carnival just called and it wants you to work at it! lol
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

Rescued: A German shorthaired pointer / beagle mix. Pound for pound the greatest animal in North America (60 pounds).

my dad's german shorthair was the most devilish creature i've ever known.  she didn't get nearly that big, but she also could run for 14 hours straight and still have energy left over.  had to give her to a guy on a farm so she could run all day because she was destructive as hell.

pit bulls, the truck nuts of the dog world

If you're talking about the horribly mutated mutt "pitbulls" like this, I agree:

I'd probably get a dog like this:

My Border died just over two weeks ago  :bawl: he was 14. I got him from the shelter when he was 9 months old. Borders are the best. We also have a lab/Australian Shepard mix. She's ok.

My beagle hates the piano. My sister was practicing the first time we ever heard him bark. A certain pitch just sets him off into this howling/barking/singing thing.

My first dog, whippet, would sit on the porch the first wednesday of every month and howl along with the sirens. God, it was so cute/funny.
