yeah, tell that to the engineer that insisted we run fire sprinkler piping inside the purlin cavity on a metal building roof.   You know, where the insulation goes.   And because it's a great idea to have your fire sprinkler pipe on the outside of your insulation plane.

Fire protection "engineers" aren't real engineers...

**EDIT: In addition, I had a professor back in the day tell my whole class (I'm sure all ARE/CNS posters know who i'm talking about) that if you gave him three bananas, he could teach a monkey to design plumbing/fire protection systems.

Ok first off, fire protection engineers are stupid. Second, metal building? Stupid. I forgot about owners. Owners are stupid and architects only enhance their stupidity

if you're spending a fair bit of money, my mother had a gaggenau that is pretty impressive.  i don't have any particular thoughts on cheaper models (the one i have is fine, but i think most of them are).  i got it from here, for at least $150 less than the same model would have been locally.

what kind of countertops are you getting?

Not that you would have any, but get rid of your stoneware, it can scratch granite.

they delivered to me (free), so yeah prolly some distributorship agreements specific to the brands you're looking at.

appliance shopping is so weird. like, it's hard to get actual pricing of stuff online. you can get msrp but there are no real prices anywhere.

where did you see the delivery restrictions?  i clicked on a couple of random high end cooking appliances and didn't see anything.
