the thing is that chris doesn’t regret what that concert/show? did for his career

Are you saying here that Chris Rock wouldn't be as famous if he didn't do that 10 minutes on black people and niggas? I mean if you completely ignore his IMDB and the fact he was the most popular black stand up comedian at the time. Ignoring all of that. If that small part of his routine made him as popular as he is/was, doesn't that prove the point that it was regrettable? I can assure you he didn't make that black people/niggas joke for it to resonate with white people. His next four movies after that stand up were children's movies. I don't think the casting directors said "hey let's go get the guy who has the routine about niggas in movie theaters."

that’s not what I said at all and I have no idea how you drew that conclusion.

Yesterday I was on autopilot when I got home from work and poured a cup of dog food into the full water bowl. My dog looked at it for a second and then turned me like "wtf man?"

Since WFH started I think I have spilled my  coffee on the keyboard and work papers too many times to count. How can I be so damn clumsy.  Blamed the wife a couple times for her poor cup placement, but I've managed solo spillage efforts too.  Maybe I need to get the old travel mug back out that I used when we had to commute to an office.... or mount a cup holder on the desk.

6 weeks ago the power flickered exactly at noon. I have an old digital clock next to my bed that’s a pain in the ass to set the time. As a result, it’s been blinking the correct time for 6 weeks.

I might have posted this before.  I ordered glasses from Warby Parker. Go to visit my parents & find out my mom & I have the exact same glasses

Also today rewired a trailer because the cord had been damaged a few times & the blinker didn’t work. Rewired & it still didn’t work. It was the plug receiver on the truck the whole time.

i was holding a couple chicken breasts above my sink last night when one slipped through my fingers and went straight into the garbage disposal. I pulled it out, washed it off, and still used it for dinner.

Watching it slide perfectly down the disposal hole was prob hilarious though.

I just learned the correct lyric a year or two ago.  Don't care, it's stuck too far in my head to change now!

I told Phil over Christmas when this came on that I still think it’s a sexual song because of Christmas Vacation.

I just now realized the Red Hot Chili Peppers album/song Californication is a play on the word “fornicate”.
