Not trolling.  I think Waters is a better pure passer than Sams and therefore think he gives us a better opportunity to win the Dr. Pepper.

I love DSams and think he is an amazing electric athlete.  But maybe he can't throw it?  And maybe he isn't a horse like Klein was and can't sustain that kind of punishment on an every down basis.  When he comes in he's exciting and clearly the most athletic player on the field.  I agree that we need to use him more.

There were so many issues with the NDSU game that I won't just pin on Waters alone.  I thought, spare a couple of throws, that he threw the ball pretty well in that game.  Better than any QB I have seen in a Wildcat uni in a long time.

It was Waters first two games.  He showed some promise, made some stupid decisions etc.  I am willing to see what he can do.  I am also glad that if he shits the bed we have #life to bail us out.

Fanning, you should run with this.  Like how that guy does the "you might be a redneck if..." jokes, your thing can be "you're not a dumbass if.../you're a dumbass if..."

Then when you hit someone with a really good one, you can drop the mic or whatever.

Funnier use of "pure" in sports and especially on gE?  Point or passer?

Dlew's post broke it down very well. Production matters, and right now its obvious where the best production is coming from at the QB position.

Your initial non-trolling inferred that one was an actual QB and one wasn't, "yanno"

I love the crap out of pocket passers when in a system that loves pocket passers.  That said, I like dual threat QB's even better and, even though they are not technically pocket passers, I still consider them as having QB skills.  In college the dual threat is a more valuable set of QB skills by far, imo.

Why do dumbasses assume that Sams can't throw just because he's not playing? That is the most dumbass thing I've seen in this thread.

That goddam fourth and inches call we can't stop talking about is the least of my rough ridin' worries about Bill being a dumbass this season.

it's symptomatic of the larger problem.  I don't know if I used symptomatic correctly though.
